What a sweet little bungalow! There’s some solid furniture pieces in there! Growing up with a Hunter and fisherman father, I grew up with deer heads, fish heads, and horns on the walls. I always hated them because I felt bad for them. For me, my favorite things in this place were the dream catcher in the kitchen area and all of the peacock feathers! Peacocks are my favorite bird! The feathers make fabulous cat toys too! I wish someone would come in and gather up all the clothes and linens and donate them. An animal shelter would LOVE to have all the sheets and towels and a woman’s shelter could use the clothes, especially the coats!

Ya, I think that fridge was on its last legs, didn't sound good at all! I'd assume the surviving family is still paying the bills or maybe it's an auto pay account, I'm not too sure. I've got a pretty strong stomach for bad smells but even that rotting meat freezer was pretty close to my limit. 😆

20:49 is (I think) a meat tenderizing device. You put the piece of meat on the plate and those metal spikes pierce it. There are handheld versions which are smaller. At 24:50 is a vacuum sealer. It sucks the air out of a plastic package and then seals it. If I had to guess, I'd say the people who lived here butchered/sold cows/pigs/etc to people who wanted to buy in large quantities. Some families will purchase a whole animal worth of meat to freeze for the year.

at 3:43 you can see a camoflauge army jacket. this jacket is in the current Canadian forces CADPAT camo and it is iliegal for civilans to own so presumably the owner was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces judging from the other jackets the husband, judging from the location of the house, he was a reservist

With all that meat in the freezer, they must have loved their meat or were a small-time butcher. I wouldn't have minded having a roast beef dinner at their house...10 years ago. It is sad to see someone's life and home abandoned with no one caring about their possessions.

Omg, the mold. We found a huge place near Vaughan, where half of the roof collapsed. It had been abandoned for years. The entire inside was pure black with mold. The floors was so rotten that it was falling into the basement. It was crazy. It's too bad because the home was full of stuff.

Colleen Here...Yeah-Those Webs...I always do a Top-To-Bottom Vacuuming, when the Need Arises... U have to be Diligent, or it'll get away from U. Jaysus about the Basement Spiders...! I think that maybe the Basement Walls weren't Adequately Prepped on the Outside-But also that Sump-Pump wasn't Enclosed...That would've Caused a LOT of that Mold Problem, and a House needs Proper SEASONAL Circulation-So that Also was a Big Factor. Neglect has Sealed THIS House's Fate-Fer Sure!
@StaticSpaces
@StaticSpaces Жыл бұрын
Oh yes, it's amazing how quickly the cobwebs can collect if you aren't careful. But I think the basement likely flooded before my visit too, seeing the mold starting to appear on the basement walls. My guess is the sump pump has failed and it doesn't have a drain back valve, so during the spring melt the water just keeps rising. Thanks very much for your comment and don't forget to keep up on your spiderweb maintenance!! 😛

The beds with the huge thick mink blanket and the sleeping bag are clearly where squatters have slept. By the looks of it, they were probably still utilizing that location at the time the video was filmed. You can tell by the cleaner condition of the bedding, the original comforter was removed and set aside, clothes are lying around like they were recently worn. You should try to be more aware of this kinda stuff- it could result in a dangerous situation if you run into squatters and they’re not cool with you being there. Be safe dude.
@StaticSpaces
@StaticSpaces Жыл бұрын
I definitely got the impression a squatter(s) may have been staying there but I could not confirm...usually the signs are more obvious. But given the location, I would be very surprised if they were, unless they had a car too. If they had been staying there, it likely wasn't during my visit since there were no signs of fresh foods, everything was long since expired. That's just my thought process anyway. Thank you very much for your comment!!

Being a long time vegan, this house made me angry, sick and sad, for all the poor animals that.. lost their lives, on that creepy, haunted horror house basically lol. I'm likely certain the owners passed prolly from cancer or weren't in good health if ate all that meat and also smoked. Sad, all those animals bodies, just rotting away, murdered for no reason even.. But yea, just a vegans mindset on this property. Not sure how anyone thinks a beautiful once living animals head, belongs on the wall, as art. Hate to b these people s enemy lol. But yea.
