I enjoy watching videos like this, really makes you wonder why they left so much behind. When you found the calendar from 2007 I was surprised, It looks like that place has been abandoned for 30 years or more!

Holy smokes...that house was so much bigger than it looked from the outside. As you kept going from one room to another, I completely lost track of the geography of the house. I wonder if the house belonged to someone elderly and/or sick, who was being looked after by younger family members with children. Despite all those bedrooms upstairs (including 2 that clearly belonged to children), there was a bedroom set up downstairs, next to a bathroom with a seat in the tub. I'm thinking that was for someone too sick or frail to manage the stairs. If that's the case, the family must have moved out when the person passed away. Videos like this make me curious....I want to know why a house, full of personal belongings is standing empty. Why did someone just walk away from it. Even if I was going to hang onto the house and the property, with the thought of selling it at some point, I wouldn't leave all my personal possessions there. All those dishes and glasses were gorgeous, and obviously very old. No way would I leave those behind. And there was just something so sad about all those abandoned toys. I know it sounds silly, but toys belong with children...children give them life and purpose. A very interesting house that really had me thinking about the people who had lived there, then walked away from it.
