It’s so sad to see a home where you could clearly see that their was small kids living at, go into ruins, family member pass and the family just lets the properties go to waste.

Honestly, I don't understand wanting to live in so large of a house. With all those narrow hallways and rooms, It would feel more like a hotel than a home. Maybe that's why it was abandoned after the death of the owners wife. I could imagine the cavernously large mansion would feel unbearably lonely at time.
