Sorry guys, this is a re-upload due to KZbins algorithm deleting it by mistake. I hope this time it won't do that. This video holds precious artwork and is all about the history of the building. Nothing in this video should be taken down! If you agree please leave a comment down below!
Anyway, this is an abandoned Japanese millionaires hotel located in the suburbs of Japan. Its location used to be a hot spot for a vacation in the 1960s for its luxurious hot spa and lavish style for the elite class. It eventually started losing sales in the late '60s when the government allowed its citizens to travel abroad. This led to fewer sales which made the owner bankrupt and had to close down the hotel in the early 2000s

Steve, you do find amazing and interesting places to explore. This is one of them. But, I felt like you were rushing through and short changing us. (Not wanting to be critical of your work, because I do enjoy watching your videos!) Just how I felt, plus dizzy when you scanned a couple if rooms very quickly!LOL Pretty sure we didn't see any guest rooms or suites. You said something like " all the same or unremarkable"...but please let Us decide that. Thanks for your hard work and enthusiasm Steve! I do give you 👍always. Just wish you would really "Explore" Every "nook and cranny" so we can see it too.

I'm loving this amazing place, Steve! Understand that this is said with love, please be mindful of some of your statements as you take us around, such as, 'this looks like a garden' while we are looking at it. Or 'the picture is attached to the frame', which we can see. The funniest bit is when you said, 'here's a door leading somewhere'. Yep, that's what they do! LOL, Keep up these amazing explores though and I am happy to keep watching. I would have liked to know if those sliding panels had crushed velvet fabric on them or if it was just wallpaper, that sort of stuff would be interesting.Lots of love from Australia xxx

Old abandoned buildings like this could be used for housing or hospitals or something instead of just siting collecting dust. That being said I’d love crawling around exploring them as much as you do! Always loved doing it as a kid in my hometown. But yeah it’s just a waste of space literally. Great vid gonna sub! See what ya discover next. Would’ve liked to know what brought you guys together for this?! You introduced them but didn’t tell us much about em. Also I’m thinking the art is mostly copies or else it would have been pillaged long ago.
@erincrooke7202

Matthew dowd you can’t just start up a homeless shelter in an abandoned building. It’s abandoned for a reason. You need lots of money to start that. Do you have an extra $100,000 to start up something for the homeless? .....I didn’t think so. That’s why these places lay abandoned. It’s easier to let everything rot, or get plowed down. Stop thinking like a martyr. Live in what is real. I’m sorry to tell you what the world really is. 😔

Ooh! Each room is more incredible than the last.. epic adventures alright! Btw, red velvet room, the weird one with the stage and incredible ceilings? The walls would be folded back so the whole room would be very big.. if they had a smaller crowd, they would close it off. Works the same way in Chinese restaurants today. The extra space with the stage would be closed off and only opened for weddings/large gatherings or crowds for festival feasts.

Great Explore! New fan...couple things...It appears in video the softbank appears to be corporate swag type stuff for an event or promotion and I would have to agree with another poster that softbank with all that is left has all the hallmarks of a company on the decline ...the red velvet suspended doors , we called them floating doors, are doors that can divide a room so the hotel can book two smaller functions at the same time or one big function if the doors are collapsed and put away. Can't wait to see the next vid!

I've watched a lot of this type of videos lately and I really don't understand how all these places are just left abandoned? Especially the houses , someone must own them surely ? why is personal stuff left around,how are they not being renovated or even cleared out ? It seems to me like there is a lot of items that must be worth money even if not mega money ,the fittings and furniture etc ? How does anyone find out about these places ? It all just confused me
