I did wonder what it would be like inside when they closed that site and moved the Huddersfield centre to somewhere else in the town, I went there for an interview back in 2013 as a 16 year old considering my options after leaving school. Also went to have an interview the SEN guy a short while after due to putting down that I was autistic on my application

I went to the college when it was still up at New North Road. This was between 2008 and 2009. I'm shocked at the amount of furniture they left behind. I was on G Block studying IT back then. Wear and tear of the building plus vandal's have been in. I have also heard of the ghost stories and it is said to be haunted. My father was a caretaker there back in the 90's and so was my late grandfather back in the 90's as a head caretaker so effectively my grandfather was my father's boss. Such a shame to see the building in so much disarray.

Hello mate we did this video a while back so ways in are always getting shut off you just have to wait for an opportunity really as breaking into places is illegal and we pretty much got in by luck as the border fell down due to the strong winds on the day as theres normally plenty of entry points once you're over the boards. Happy exploring!

How are there no homeless people living in there? I always imagined it to be full of them everytime I passed through the area. Don't see why they wouldn't move into the building.
@themorphman1003 жыл бұрын
Because the same as anywhere really. Majority of homeless people actually have a place to go back to from the council, be it a council house or a hostel. Majority are begging for money for drugs. Yes you do get some genuine ones with literally no place to go also the ones who refuse any help at all.

@@themorphman100 lol why would you refuse help if needed
