I've rescued and raised so many wild birds and they were able to go back into the wild. My mother helped me with them when I was young and I always was bringing home stray dogs which ended up staying with us. But my husband never understood why I bothered. Needless to say our marriage was not a long one. I couldn't be with someone who had no compassion. Bless this lady.
