You two are adorable. I can tell you really respect these old places. I remember those old tab sodas. This is a great place and so sad that the roof has gave away and water damage has basically ruined it. Those things inside were great. Thanks

I like to think of the days when the house was being built and occupied by its first owners and everything was new. The laying of the brick foundation and the install of the lath and plaster walls. I am glad that you and your friends appreciate the structure and its history; disturb nothing and leave it as you found it.

What a great house, Parker! It looks like there's not been a lot of change over the years. It appears that fireplaces were closed up when stoves were installed. I wonder what might be inside the fireplaces! My guess is the varnish on some of the woodwork is original. Someone affluent once lived there but houses wear out and become very expensive to maintain and not every old house can be preserved. It would be very interesting to see how the house looked at different times; I'm guessing there were additions that would explain the unusual staircase and the unusual floor plan. The cartoon figure of the bird makes me think of the stork that used to be used in advertising for Vlasic pickles. When I was very young in the 60's and 70's my neighbors used to drink Tab and the bottles looked like the one in the box. That glass bottle by the basement window you used looks like it might be a collectible/antique. From the get-go this was a special place. I'm glad you and Trevor documented this house while it's still standing.

Parker, hard to tell value of the Underwood typewriter ,need a date and prob a serial or model number, I saw some online with prices in the $300s $400s, and up. Of course prob depends on the condition too. But if cleaned up ,they might be worth something!

I'll let the spirit standing right next to you introduce himself. "My name is Greg!!" at 2:10. Start listening at 2:09 to hear it better. Greg seems to be calling to his "Grandpa" at 2:17-2:18. Again, it's best to start listening at 2:17. There sounds like there might be a kind of gruff response, "Yeah!!" at 2:18-2:19. I'm not sure what is meant by "Man in the back" at 3:39-3:40. It does sound like Greg is still there with you. He then says "You're in the right part of it" at 3:42. Wow, that's really clear. "Children in here!" at 9:11. Is that the Grandpa? He says "Not in my. . . !" at 9:17. As you look through personal belongings you can hear, "Hang on!!!" at 9:27. Is that "Help!!" at 9:40? The last half of the video has no EVPs, I guess the spirits saw you were not up to any harm and left you alone. Oh, there's an EVP. Someone seems to be calling you, "Stupid!!" at 18:-18:51. Do you ever feel like you're not alone? That was a really neat place, Thanx for letting me tag along.

The motor with the pull string is from an old push lawn mower. The house has an excellent design. It looks as if it was probably built between the 1920's and late 1930's.

Parker, I noticed the sign that said "F F Churchill", so I did a search. It led me to an old book on songs for schoolchildren, written in 1905, by an F.F. Churchill. Strange that you found a piano and old typewriter there. Do you think it could be him? Have you ever done research on the abandoned places you visit? I'm finding this stuff very intriguing! Thank you for your videos.

For valuations and history of items left behind - library Kovel's Guide. Time frame of buildings, any architectural digest also at library. The building is a farmhouse not a mansion. Dating to 1880-1890, with an addition after 1920. Reason probably bigger family, more money and built an addition. The typewriter is worth $25 cleaned but, that becomes a thin line. Exploring not stealing. The keys found in pantry are sardine/spam, ham can openers. Ask your grandfather for an explanation of odd shaped cans prior to the 1960's. The soda or tonic bottles are 1968-ish pop top caps, made for opening with the thumb and an upward motion, no church key/ bottle opener required. Real value might be clock seen after typewriter and phone but, I can't tell by the video.

I'm no expert, but I looked at eBay for that underwood typewriter. I think that's a early 1900s model. A pristine one goes for around $200. I do know that was a very popular brand of typewriters at the time.

The separate hot and cold water faucets were common until the 1930s, maybe even 40s. So that bathroom was probably last updated in the 30s or 40s. The rotary dial phone looked like a 1950s Western Electric model. The rest of the stuff looks like from every decade from the 1930s to 2000s.

My grandparents had separate faucets in the bathroom for years and I don't think it changed. They both passed away in the 80s, sadly. My mother and her brother had been raised in the house with not many major changes, nothing fancy.

+shannonm75 Interesting. When I was a kid in the 60s my family owned an old turn of the century hotel. A few of the bathrooms still had those separate faucets, but my dad had upgraded most of them to single faucets. He was pretty big on remodeling though.

The room to the side of the house could have been a summer kitchen. They used them to keep from heating up the home during the warmer months. The stork is for a new baby announcement. You would put boy/girl and weight stuff like that. Glad to see that you and your friend do not take things from these places except you video's which is the way it should be. And Please don't tell people where these places are because there are so many destructive and ignorant people out there that would come and destroy things even worse then they are already. Let it be yours and your friends secrete. Another cool old house that someone has let go to rot and ruin. So sad to see this don't you think?!

The keys you found at the end of the video aren't car or door keys. They are from canned hams. That use to be the way to open the ham was to use the key that was on the bottom of the can. I know this because as a child I had to tape a whole bunch back onto the cans when I pulled them all off. I was a rebellious little girl. By the way great video.

I'd don't think a person would store keys on the wall in that walk in cupboard. It is a great concept/idea; but just the wrong place for it because if they had all the keys in once place that could be seen by all from the outside (straight though the window) it may lead to breaking in.

Incredible....what a way to get in there. That big thing in the cellar was the oil tank. As for the keys they were actually used to open the old school cans of ham. Yep it used to come in a type of can. You would put the tab in the slot of the key and turn it and the metal band would wrap around the key as you turned it. Great job on this one. Shame u couldn't get in the other room.

nice old vintage rocking horse, that would of been a very pricey item back in the day serpised you didn't sit on it ride it, the paino looks to be a baby grand paino basic a grand paino but smeller for the smaller house, i'd say use a size 10 boot to get in but then oh wait your the goody two shoes so no booting allowed, not like i'd just leave it i'd kick it or pulled it shut or kick it from the inside an wait...no err, huh looks like the house has started to fall in on itself might of been from water leakage or just wood worm, I DON'T THINK ITS BEEN THAT LONG ABANDONED SEEING AS THERE IS A BLOODY APPLE COMPUTER BOX AT 5:04 ! A G3 APPLE COMPUTER NONE THE LESS (or g4 i forget i know the ones that were towers made to look like the old 98 imacs were either g3 or 4 then you had the whole metal/aluminuim ones) some what partly destroyed 60's recodr player, looks like it was used for storage but it seems now most of it is too far gone to get or is owned by whio ever owns the house, 11:45 screw the phone those two mugs there!! you can come with me guys "scraps at screen" nuu darn you why isn't there grab and get it teconlogy?! nice big ol' trunk, still worth money those model plane parts if there in good shape as in are up to the safety standers, 13:24 that's a stalk from a hostipal were babies were sadly not the one that cabbish patch kids one but maybe a simer one? and at last we find the empty bottles there is found to be a few or one in an old not used house,
