Great old house. You live in a great part of the country for history of our founding fathers, which I love! If not for them, where would our country be now? I would live in the house...not as is due to fire...but restored...heck ya!! Thanks for giving us history lessons!! Appreciate all you do!

Great video, esp appreciate getting the history of the house. Just sad, not able to see inside, yes, saw the boarding & pad lock, so understand why not.

Since you couldn't get in, and the upper windows were uncovered, maybe a drone could have looked in them to show what it looked like.

Kyle, I must say u r one of my favorite urban explorers, for the fact that your always so respectful of the property, which some of ur “colleagues “ have a bit of trouble with, LOL. And you have a very genuine interest in the architecture and the history, which I know I appreciate greatly. The fact that you actually take the time to do research and then put it up for us to read is pretty unique to ur channel, I haven’t seen any others who do that, & it helps to make the whole “ story” come together. Keep up all the amazing explores, this was a great one!! 🏰 Just wish we could have seen inside, but that’s ok seems after the fire there isn’t really much to see anyways. So, THANK YOU 🙏🏼 KYLE, you and ur channel r AWESOME,& can’t wait to see where u take us next!!! Cheers from So. Cal 💕🙂👍🏻 **P.S. clicked that notification bell & YES, I think I would live in that house ( not as is, lol) with I’m sure a few ghost buddies!!👻

The garage was likely once a carriage house, which is why it’s so far away from the actual house. Very neat old house. It should, indeed, be preserved. Thanks for another great video, my friend. God bless you!

The house is gorgeous and probably was when it was built too. Too bad you couldn't get inside I bet it's amazing in there. But you ask would we live in it. I would say no. To much history to that place, and I'm sure you hear a fair share of "bumps" in the night. It should be a historical house. If they fixed it up to the time frame it was made, that place would get there money back in repairs. I bet the hall ways are arched.... I can't imagine! Thanks for this awesome video Kyle, be safe!! Would you live there kyle??

Kyle this was a really beautiful location. The historical aspect of it fascinates me. Great idea including the history. I love that you let the houses speak for themselves, and not feel compelled to talk through the whole thing. You very wisely let us experience the house on our own, using our own imagination to experience the wonder of the past. I would live there if it was restored, I love the shape of it. Very well done, music, editing and narration. 🔔is on so I don't miss a minute. Looking forward to your million mark!

Great video. I know in the past I've mentioned a problem reading the captions. Not this time. I don't know what you did different but the clarity was excellent and I was able to read every single caption without a problem love it. Whatever you did please keep doing it and keep making great videos thank you. I think, I'm not really sure, that Charles II never came to America. He lived at a time that England was in turmoil and I don't think he ever left England with the exception of when he hit out in the Netherlands for a short period of time before returning. I'm not a real big history buff but I don't think it's possible that he ever lived in the America even for a short period of time. Maybe someone out there knows their history better than me. Thanks

Nice looking house. Interesting history. Shame that it hasn’t been rehabilitated since the fire. I’d certainly live there if it was restored. I was wondering if the garage was perhaps originally a stable and coach house building if built at the same time. There may have a cow or a couple of sheep on the land back in the day so the fenced area could have been a kitchen garden as would have been common then. Perhaps original documents or historical information would say more.
