Thanks for the update JP! I agree with you, the best thing would be to give them proper burials in the cemetery, those folks paid for their resting places there and should automatically have claim to a burial plot in the cemetery if the mausoleum is not going to be kept up! Really nice to see someone has cleaned up the mausoleum. I remember at least two of your previous visits here, Jay, and this looks so much better, with the lawn maintained, and flowers in the mausoleum. I did not see or hear anything other than traffic in the five minutes. Maybe, as someone suggested, place the K2 in the office area on your next visit, as that's where you heard the unexplained sounds. Thanks for the update -- Great video!💙

Absolutely disgraceful this mausoleum is left in this condition. Families must be so distraught over this, but may not have the funds to move their loved one. You would think some community business (Chamber Commerce or Rotary) members could get together and get a local glass company to donate new windows, a flooring company to put in some new carpet or tile, etc. Sad.

Great vid, thanks! And yeah, we did a few tours of the mausoleums in New Orleans and they still follow the same process of putting in coffin and bricking up and then covering with the decorative cover. You could try placing a digital voice recorder inside the mausoleum and let it run for several hours. Sometimes they do pick up sounds and sometimes disembodied voices.
@gaylebrodt676Ай бұрын
That was an awesome update. It is very sad, but in addition to those that keep the grounds cleaned, someone cleaning up the inside and outside of the mausoleum is good evidence that there are other people that care about the place. I remember you talking about your good idea of those that are still laid to rest in the mausoleum should be taken out and buried in the surrounding grounds, I agree totally and then they could tear down the existing structure to make more room if they needed it. That would make it a really nice cemetery. They could also tear down and clean up the office building and shed too. No action during the investigation but I think it would be fascinating if you tried again. I'm not sure what you heard, but I am thinking it had to be spiritual, because if someone was in there, and they were in pain as you described, they would have still been in there. It certainly is a mystery. Great video JP, thank you! 💙

Makes me so happy to see someone is caring for the place. Hope they keep it up. Yes, an investigation would be cool. Not only inside but in the cemetery and around the office too. That medicine is a generic form of children's Benedryl (Diphenhydramine). Pretty much useless for illicit drug making and meth isn't made from that. That's why there's so much of it left there. That brand isn't made anymore so someone probably bought up a bunch of it when manufacturing of it stopped, thinking they would resell it like at a flea market or they found out it was useless as far as illicit drugs go.

@RuthShelton-ou4idАй бұрын
Hey Jay glad you gave us an up date on the place. Doing your experiment in the day time -- too much traffic -- but while doing it in the day time as well as at night-- takkng some random pictures --even in day time can sometimes catch a sprite picture (s). At the 'office' if it wasn't a live person -- maybe someone's ashes might be inside-- they might not like it, who knows. As a kid of 10 I took a picture with a polaroid camera standing outside, sunny day at Robert E. Lee's home in Arlington -- a picture of a Yankee soldier holding a riffle could be seen, it was all black but clearly looked human in form. You never know what you might get -- or get nothing at all-- but it's always worth trying. If you take some pictures of the ground & see a green square colour that too could be a sprite 'walking' with you. Concord Point Lighthouse here in Maryland has a number of sprites but they don't list that on their website. If you go to the Keeper's house on weekends in summer it's right across the street from the lighthouse -- ask to see their book that visitors have written in about their paranormal experiences. Very cool stuff! The lady behind the counter made a copy of a police report of a man who was found shot to death before the place was fixed up. I brought her to the back side room where past pictures of lightkeepers were shown. A man from the 1800's looked just like the man in the police report. I thought it was cool -- they lady's face turned pale-- She isn't into the paranormal like us. I have your channel listed on mine - hope that gives you more subs.❤ Can we send you Christmas eat treats this year? You liked the one I sent you some time ago. I could send some yummy hand made candy if you like. I'm making some for folks at my church. Take care!!

Children’s allergy medicine typically does not contain the ingredients used in meth production. It’s most likely illegal disposal. A pharmaceutical company or distributor could have dumped the medicine there to avoid proper disposal costs or regulations, especially if the stock was expired or recalled. This could explain why such a large quantity is abandoned in an unusual place.
@brentsimonds1101Ай бұрын
Or someone ordered a ton of it thinking it did, then had nothing to do with it, so they dumped it.

I heard a lot of road traffic noise and a helicopter. Not sure whether I heard some humming type of noise, or if it was interference from my mother-in-law's TV in the next room. 🤷♀ I've always been interested in the paranormal, and have friends who are very into it, but like you, I don't have the personal sensitivity myself. My late husband did. According to things I've read, cemeteries are usually pretty ghost-free places, as spirits prefer to hang around where they passed or were most comfortable in life.

The name plate that's already there could be used as a headstone. Might that work? Maybe a local National Guard Unit or an American Legion, or a prison could get inmates to do it -- Prsioners burry folks on that island in New York. Just trying to help.

Is it possible that the wind blew through the building and made what you thought was a moan? There does seem to be a lot more broken windows and openness, it could have just been a gust that came through at the same time you were there. OR if someone was hiding inside, they obviously didn't want any help. Glad to see someone cares enough to make it presentable. It's a shame the people that bought it, just let it go. They initially claimed they didn't know it was there (how could you not) and I thought they said they would make sure it was taken care of. Guess they changed their minds. Probably too expensive, so they cut their losses and moved on. For some reason, I had wondered if you would do another report, just didn't get around to asking. So thanks for the update! You must have read my mind. 🥰
