I''m not sure why you described this mansion as being owed by a "sinful" family. I saw nothing in there that could have been regarded as such. It is a beautiful place and so sad to see it in such shape. I will say again, I'm always so amazed by how kind and respectful you are to the places you visit.

What a beautiful Italian mansion.. Wish I was a millionaire 😁I would buy it restore and live in it..
@whitesongs734 жыл бұрын
You have to be careful because you will end up spending more money to get it fixed then if you would have purchased it the first time and that does not include taxes and you also have to find out and get a good structural engineer to do a thorough inspection of this mansion. Has anyone kept in consideration the upkeep for the landscape? The Mansion is beautiful but it's a money pit. I think the only time this match and should be used as if it's used for something business-wise where you will see a return in your money.

No it would not be cool because it's Italy. It's very difficult to renovate these places, especially when they are listed. You have to do a lot of fighting for all the permissions needed. Maybe you won't even get them without "connections". And you have to be aware of the Mafia. Italy is beautiful but has very dark sides too.

This is a really elegant combination of baroque and deco styles, the stair rail is stunning. The choice of materials was obviously very carefully considered to create a harmonious flow and continuity throughout. The statue of the woman with a baby angel is actually Venus and Cupid, while the lady holding a swan is Leda with Zeus in the form of a swan, she is the Mother of Apollo and Artemis. The little angels in the paintings are called putties or cherubs. I really like the way the pool has become a small wetland habitat that supports life. Another beautiful exploration from you two...thank you for always bringing us along with you.🖤🇨🇦

Hi Lesley and Jordy, Bros of Decay, I enjoyed watching this video and listening to your comment. - It's always such a pleasure, when you upload a new video. So I could hardly believe my eyes, when suddenly at the same moment two(!) videos were popping up from my favourite explorers and then also from the same location one video from my other very favourite explorers as well, the fabulous explomo boys. - You all really made my day! - Wow! - Very interesting to see the basement room with the window to the pool. Once more I loved so much the moment, when you were showing another fine example of your vivid imagination by telling us viewers, how the owners might have watched their children in the swimming pool and so on. - Very good camerawork as always by Jordy. Would have been nice to see him also at the end of your video! - Wishing you all the best and many more inspiring explores. Peace and kindest regards.

Perhaps the last part of the video title should have read: “of a sinfully rich family” this does not equate to the family being “sinful” but an American saying sort of like the saying: “richer than God” or: “ If God had that kind of money he would have built a great castle also”. Then modern plain light fixtures added, and the inexpensive bed that was left, and the old-style organ like that can sometimes be had for free as few want them. The room with pool window was a jarring room, they took tomatoes or whatever from spring or summer and then preserved in Mason jars to be stored in cold cellar room like that. It's why it's all cement. As for why there is a window to pool, the pool was an add on with window already there so it was just easier to leave it that way than redoing stone work on house.
@linack55035 жыл бұрын

This is one of your best videos. There is one thing that puzzles me, the window in the pool. From the outside, the pool and the window are several meters from the back of the house. Could the window have been present before the pool was constructed and the owner decided to incorporate the window into the side of the pool during a later construction date. The room with the pool window doesn't appear to have been a finished room and the window was most likely just used for letting in light. But, the rooms are absolutely beautiful Thanks much.

What lovely Fresco's on the walls and ceilings! So picturesque! This had to be a very lovely mansion with much living going on as well as sinning. lol Fortunate to be so rich that they could own it, but it would be nicer if they had a great family life to enjoy it all with and to live well while living rich. Thank you again for sharing. You always do a great job showing the homes and with your historical research first given. You show much respect for each home. I would love to see you have so much money you could choose the home tht you would love done over for yourself. one to share with your family while on this journey of life.

The frescoes are amazing. A gorgeously designed mansion. Shame that no one is renovating it.

I pointed out to my brother about the incredible amount of waste that I had seen. And he pointed out that people had jobs creating these works of art, but mother nature was even more creative in returning them back to nature.

What is sad is that the craftsmen who built these magnificent houses are gone. The art of woodwork, marblework, stonework is long gone.These types of homes can't be duplicated.
