ABANDONED Nevele Grand Hotel exploration (2 months after fire)

This once grand hotel started construction in 1901, opened to the public in 1903 and closed in 2009. It was a place that friends and families could spend countless hours and enjoy what the resort had to offer in both the winter and the summer. The Nevele had skiing, swimming, theater, tennis, dining, and probably much more. Today 121 years since it's construction and 15 years after abandonment we explore the once filled rooms, hallways, food courts and lobbys and appreciate what once was, now being left to rot. All being slowly withered by time and nature reclaiming what is hers...
The fire happened on March 19th and we explored the resort on May 18th. If you decide to come here please be careful, there has been so much water damage most of the floors are squishy or have holes. Also respect the place and don't go here to vandalize.

Back in the seventies this place was awesome. My Grandparents would take us here several weekends throughout the winter and throughout the summer. it was an amazing resort at one time. very sad to see what has happened over the years.

What was security like? Figured it would be worse now.

Honestly we didn't see any there, there was a guy with his girlfriend and their dog and a group of 3 others around the place, it is right next to the new resort so watch that. We drove right up to the new entrance but it was fine. Be careful if you go there is a lot of water damage
