This is so weird and really sad. I worked in Rochdale until 2018, not in the centre, though I would pass through on my way home and stop to do some shopping and get a drink from Russel's coffee shop. They had a piano and sometimes a pianist playing. I had no idea it had closed.

I loved the library there. Way better than the new one. The old one acc felt like a library, the new one is just governement offices with one small section that actually has books

There’s security now so you’ll have to ask for permission by the owners to explore but I doubt they’ll let you, if you go just keep an eye out and be aware for security
