The deer and wolf motifs are amazing for these two 😭😭😭 shiny duo angst is amazing, thank you for this even if it's unfinished. I would never dream of drawing centaurs, absolute mad lad for that, but it works so well for gem and your poses for her are amazing

I don't have enough words to describe how beautiful this is. Despite it being unfinished, the fact that the majority of it is COLORED is absolutely insane. This was freakin amazing dude; from the giant Tilly, to the parallels of Scott rejecting Pearl but offering his life up for Gem, Gem underwater and the dog biting her leg, and just. the freezeframe at 1:44. and then the silence as Pearl is surrounded by her Mounders. I just. AGKSDH. IT'S SO GOOD

Love this, it’s very good and I love your headconnons with gem as a centaur. It makes sense because deer are a LOT stronger than they appear, just like Gem!

Love this so much! I especially appreciate at "I couldn't see / you tripped on love, you got cut, you were bleeding / I carried you through the night, an emergency" when Scott sacrifices himself to Gem, her horrified expression. How Gem's sort of really understanding the depths of why Pearl's so messed up after Scott. She's experiencing the horrors firsthand. Lots of brilliant expression work here, other notable mentions: Gem before she stabs Scar, in general Pearl sort of empty and exhausted without her allies, angry Pearl after Gem killed her on yellow.

It's from hermitcraft mostly I think, shea left that theme behind but it is a really cool design I think.

I don't know where it came from, but it's kind of fanon that she at least has antlers. I've seen a ton of animators portray her with some kind of deer feature, and personally, I love it(antlers are always great imo)
