ABBA - The letters are for each of the 4 member's first names. Agnetha, Björn, Benny, and Anni-Frid. The two married couples formed this super popular group in 1971 or 1972 (from Sweden). The dark haired lady was married to the dude with the beard, playing piano. The blonde was married to the dude on guitar. they have had numerous chart topping hits on music charts all around the world. Their songs are so unique from each other. Most groups/bands you can tell their "signature sound" but ABBA were such talented innovators that they dove into all different sounding genres of music. Yeah, back in the day....I just finished clearing out a storage locker full of my diaries, etc. Oddly, it's called the "Swedish Death Clean". In my diaries for the 1970's (my 20's) it is clear that "anybody could be that guy". I kind of felt embarrassed at myself before remembering I was learning and owning my own sexuality. If I'm not mistaken Mamma Mia - movie , came out within the last 5 years and it highlights they're music. Swedish group comprised of two couples who at the time that music came out did not speak English so they sang these songs not knowing what the heck they were singing about at the time.

ABBA and Dancing Queen ... take me back to the days! People used to think they were lightweights and fluff but man, their songs have one of the most intricate melodies and the lyrics are as deep as any. They are both light and dark ... they take you where you want to go and some unexpected places too. What Super Troopers!
