I have seen this young man react to everything from Kenny Rogers to Dolly Parton to Meat Loaf to Queen to the righteous Brothers. Now, my sons have been exposed to all different kinds of music… And they are very appreciative of all different kinds of music. What amazes me about this young man is how much he appreciates it and how little he jokes about even the things that are easily joked about… Like the clothes they are wearing or the hairstyles or whatever. He has so much charisma and an obvious respect for all genres and all performers and all artists… I know by heart every single song that I have seen him (and his brother... who is unfortunately absent for this one) react to… But listening to them through his ears has made me fall in love with them all over again. Whoever his Mama is.... ma’am, you done good! Never in my life did I think it would be entertaining to watch somebody listen to music… Ha ha… But this has rapidly become my favorite KZbin channel. ☮️

From the UK 🇬🇧. Cheers mate....... now I’m crying because this Beuty of a song, man and band brought you to unexpected tears. As a black Brit I’ve somewhat taken for granted that the world finally knows what Queen and Freddie gave us. Growing up with Queen, Dusty Springfield etc even Adele shows that soul music and music in general is truely universal and like sports, unifies. We have music festivals and concerts every week. But watching you reminded me of just the gut reaction and feeling that you just can’t help where Queen and Freddie were and are concerned. I found you so endearing. That being said; don’t make me cry again 👍😜

As a 14 year old in 1978, who’s big brother had just died in a horrible road accident, Queen’s music and Freddie’s voice kept me clinging to the planet. I’d lie in bed at night, in the quiet and darkness, with my brother’s turntable and headphones and silently sob myself to sleep, to the soothing sounds of Queen. I still have all their albums on vinyl, crackly and worn, treasured and loved. I’ve cried so many tears to Queen.... I feel You. 🕉

you should also look into queen as a band. freddie is a superstar, of course, and im sure most people could go on for hours about him, but the 3 other members are superstars too. The guitarist Brian May (the one with the hair, lol) is actually Dr. Brian May CBE... he's an astrophysicist and works on projects with NASA. roger taylor is the drummer, but also sings backup on many songs, sings the highest notes of anyone in the group, and has his own solo stuff as well. he even sings lead on some songs! (check out queen - "I'm in love with my car" for a great one, lol). and the bassist John Deacon is phenomenal, and known as their "secret weapon" as he actually wrote the most hit songs for the band (including "another one bites the dust".... i bet you know this one, but should react to it nevertheless). queen is the only band where ALL members have written at least one #1 song. crazy.

I’m a geezer now but I was probably about your age when I first heard this. Some things never change, I felt the same way as you when this song was first dropped on the radio and then this live version really displays that they aren’t simply a studio made band. Freddie is maybe the best vocalist ever, some say he has perfect pitch which is very rare. Freddie had very bad bucked teeth but he refused to fix them because he was concerned that it would hurt his voice and vocal experts agree with his decision. Their Live Aid concert is very good but I prefer this one. You have a good ear for music, not everyone has that. If you haven’t done so, their studio version of bohemian Rhapsody is a must (with your headphones).

1970's: FOUR unique talents came together. May, Taylor, Deacon, Mercury. IN THE STUDIO: They didn't just write the music, they LIVED IT and FELT IT and with their God-given talents REFINED IT to perfection. POETIC. POWERFUL. Song after song. Listening to no critics. You need to know what you're doing, and know the tools in any craft if you are to be recognized at all. They did, and more. From there, being good means putting in the work. Being GREAT means going the extra steps far after the good ones call a song good enough. They were the later. ON STAGE: Skillful ever more.. They didn't just perform the music.. they ROCKED it! ... and moved an entire world with their art. There are hundreds.. .thousands.. of talented musicians who have given us great music and who are beloved and revered through the generations. And then you have 'all-stars-aligned' entities like QUEEN who will move millions with their art for a thousand generations to come. Individual talents who never settled for 'good enough' early on in the midst of already-acquired fame, success. Some say Legends, some say Gods -- of their industry. I just say, thank you -- for pushing the envelope and leaving us with GREAT and timeless music.

When you have the time, watch Queen perform at Live Aid. In my opinion, they were the best performers, and it's one of their best performances ever!! They had that audience in the palm of their hands. Freddie had already been diagnosed with Aids, but he, or should I say they came out, and killed it!!!!

I love your reactions to Queen. I watched the first Queen song you reacted to, and you just didn’t know what you were letting yourself in for. Respect to you for recognising the pure brilliance that is Queen. No one can compare to them live.

One of the greatest live songs on youtube; not only is Freddie out of this world but the band is tight af and all of them sing great in the song too! How many bands do you see with everyone signing?

There are plenty of acts that are made up of all talented musicians / singers / songwriters, but Queen stands alone in that each member wrote number 1 songs within the band.

CMDR Richard Feynman yes! Plus every member of this band wrote #1 top songs. No other band had done that- not even Zeplin, Van Halen, etc.

When a song can shift your emotions like that you know it was magical. My favorite quote say “ even if I can’t tell you how I feel, I can find a song that can” and this song is a true example of that. I felt just like you the first time I saw this live version. The end was so…..incredible…..Freddie lives in that song…..it moved me to happy tears. This was a great reaction.

Queen's music is so perfect it easily brings people to tears because music & talent like theirs doesn't happen anymore. To know this voice and talent of an angel, Freddie Mercury is forever gone, but lives through new generations like you. Pass it on to the future. Music needs this. I'll suggest a couple of things to you although I can give you literally dozens. Queen "White Queen" live at the Odeon. Freddie Mercury & Monserratt Cabella "Barcelona" live. Freddie could sing and play anything. It'll blow your mind!
