When do you hear music like this anymore? Listen to ABBA's arrangements! Those guys were sheer genius! Listen how rhythms change up, and those over-lapping background vocals, and how it all comes together! Grunge came into vogue, and next thing you know we'd devolved back into Stone Age music-wise, with very little imagination, and very little changing up at all! I mean that musically, and arrangement-wise. It ticks me off that anyone would consider ABBA as teeny-bopper music or "sugar-coated". When you really listen to the lyrics of Benny & Bjorn's tunes, you realize those guys were really deep and incredibly clever! ABBA, you need to tour again!

I really wish that people would realise that underneath all the kitsch are phenomenal singers and, more importantly, songwriters. These songs are, to me, on the same level as The Beatles or even great classical music. I feel that ABBA will be remembered for a much longer time than anyone could have predicted.
