The thing I have the most trouble with in fake tanning and feel like isn't talked about in depth often is REMOVAL!!!! if a tan is a nightmare to remove no matter how much i like it i just can't deal with it and Bali body is one of those unfortunately

I have tried so many over the years, but just tried Bali Body for the first time in mousse dark, and I am floored at how good this looks. But one of the things I'm really noticing is that what works on one persons skin might not be as good on another. Your own level of dryness, skin tone etc... makes a difference because sometimes I hear about amazing ones & they totally don't work for me. Never tried the tanning waters or I hour ones. My skin is super fair, & in most cases I either look yellow when it's a cloudy day or dirty with the darker tanners. I'd recently sprung for Il Makiage (49 dollars for that overrated s--t) and so I wasn't going to get my hopes up about this one. I cannot tell you how non streaky & uniform it looks! I wouldn't say it has a redness, but definitely more than any other I've ever used except maybe Fake Bake (which is great, but messy & sometimes a little dirty looking). It's been 2 days now & I look at my feet with such happiness. I'l Makiage was just almost non existent, but felt nice going on because it's moisturizing; whereas this feels nice and gives you a healthy medium to light color. I did do a second coat after a couple of hours to make it darker & looks amazing. After this wears off, & as fall comes I'm just going to do a one coat application every week & be super happy. I do not feel or look all dried out like the way so many other tanners do. I would absolutely say that this is my favorite of all of them. The smell was a little perfumy & maybe a bit tanner like, but I never care about that anyway because you can always just shower the next day.

@@LA-rc6nm Not sure, but after it was over... Man that stuff is IMPOSSIBLE to scrub off. A mess, I really hate to say & I use one of the old greek washcloths that have woven little threads that take off a literally layer of skin if you aren't careful with it.

Great video as always! I’ve never understood the concept of applying another layer of tan 30 minutes after the first layer. The skin can only absorb so much DHA, it just seems like a waste of product to me. I will definitely try the 1 hour express one! Also I recommend the St Tropez x Ashley Graham tan - same kind of mousse as the Bali body one hour express and gorgeous colour too! I also find it doesn’t have that tan smell at all! ❤️

Curious to try the 1 hour express! We love a self tanner that’s low maintenance (quick dry time, less time to develop, no transfer). I was looking at the gradual face tanner moisturizer but I see it has coconut oil so worried my acne prone skin wouldn’t like that. Since I use spf everyday and actives my fave is so much lighter than my body at all time and would love to be one shade all over 😅

That's tough because it depends on what formulation/application process you prefer! Isles of paradise is definitely quicker to throw into your routine and their light shade is perfect for a subtle natural glow on fair skin! But they're both great :)

@@AbbeyYung Isle of Paradise is my favorite for wear, color and fade process. I've tried Bali Body and the fade process was patchy and I looked terrible. My vote is Isle of Paradise in the color dark. Sunless tanning water.

I have the Ulta Dark Bali Body. I can’t leave it on super long, or it looks super orange on me. I leave it on for 2-3 hrs and works good for me. It also doesn’t get splotchy on me when leave it on for just a couple of hrs. I definitely what to try their 1hr express! I think I will really like that one. Thank you for the review! ❤️

Hello love, and anyone else considering tanning beds. Im only saying this because I care about your health. I just wanted to say PLEASE don't go back to tanning beds. I lost my fiancé and father my 15 YO daughter to Melanoma last September. I used to love going to tanning beds as well when I was young. But I've heard something like 15-20 minutes in a regular bed is like spending an entire tray outside in the sun. Not worth risking your health. Just something to consider.. much love 🙏 ❤

I think he would really like the brand Bondi sands. The Aero Ultra Dark And the tanning oil. Only caveat the ultra dark is definitely sticky. I really think you'll like the outcome though.

As you are clearly a self-tanning pro, do you have any tips for tanning your legs. For some reason, I always get these dark dots on my shins and calves after self-tanning. It's worse if I tan directly after shaving. I also tried the Sally Hanson leg makeup and it works fine - no dots, but with every self-tanning product I get these dots which makes it pretty obvious that I used a self-tanner.

I have the dark and ultra dark, I purchased them shortly after they came out. The dark was not dark at all and applying the ultra dark I swear it made me look dirty and was hard to blend. I was so disappointed, but I’ve been seeing really good reviews on the express formula. I love watching your videos on self tans 💕

I have the gradual tanning lotion, and the ulta dark tanning m. I must say I do like the lotion but with a mit, super moisturizing. I didnt like the mit either, it moved around alot. But I have been wanting to get my hands on the 1 hour . So thank you for the review as always.

they all do that in my experience. Your skin sheds through the week anyway but with self tanner on It just means the shedding is coloured. Unfortunately stains like a bitch

Bali body seems to make good products but their marketing really doesn’t sit right with me. Seeing their marketing being exclusively extremely thin white women “tanning” to darker than me (I’m naturally brown) rubs me all the way wrong. I’d much rather support a brand like tanologist or st Moriz that uses a diverse set of models in both color and body type.
