Better to have no or less expectations specially tourism in Philippines is still not that developed. Also, you have to have lots of wits and patience. Too much bureaucracy and nonsensical requirements. If you consciously not let you bother those things, you will probably have an amazing time in Philippines.

If you want to be abit different from other travel vlogger who comes to PH, try to Hike mt. Apo or pinatubo, or go to the windmil farm and go offroading.. not much vlogger do that. Most of them just go to the beach and island hop. So maybe you can add that to your list and add abit of diversity to your destination not just beach/island hopping and promote other places /activities that travelers/tourist can do here. 🤙

Welcome to PH guys - World's Leading Beach and Dive Destination at the 2022 World Travel Awards. And Intramuros was also Asia's Leading Tourist Attraction... Love your energy. Matches ours. :) Glad you loved Adobo. It's our national dish. It can be pork or chicken. Adobo Flakes is a recent variation though. I think some sell it in jars which has a long shelf life. So maybe you can go look for one since you really loved it. :)

And glad you checked the prices for the tricycles first. Coz sadly, a lot of tricycle and taxi drivers here overcharge passengers (some taxis refuse to use the meter), esp. tourists which is a shame! I have actually reported it recently to our Dept. of Tourism. Hoping they would do something about it. Btw, Dr. Rizal not only wrote poetry. His novels are actually one of the things that inspired the revolution against Spain. I think the most controversial part of the novel is probably the part where we learn that Maria Clara's father was actually Father Damaso, a priest! Dr. Rizal was also very popular with the ladies btw, hehe. And his common-law-wife was actually a woman of Irish descent - Josephine Bracken. Dr. Rizal was also a doctor (Opthalmologist), a polymath and a polyglot. He has numerous monuments and memorials both here and abroad including in London at the Beckett family residence where he stayed on his trip there. The Rizal Monument has has his skeletal remains beneath it and is guarded 24/7 by the Philippine Marines Corp. He was actually executed there in 1896 by firing squad by the Spanish. And in Fort Santiago in Intramuros, there's a Rizal Shrine where you can see some of his clothing and learn more about him. They even have on display his bullet-struck vertebra!

Please bring umbrella when you get out during day time, it’s so hot. Filipinos can’t stand the heat too so you’ll notice them in airconditioned area during daytime. Around afternoon when sun’s about to set, they’ll get out to open spaces.
