​@@playhookyI was in Pensacola this past weekend. While I was there there was 4 Tiny Homes being delivered. I'm not sure where they ended up at but it's a dead end road so I'm sure they ended somewhere up there. My wife took a picture on the side of one of the trucks, so I can say for sure it was Tiny Homes. MSM for the most part only covers what is happening in Asheville and surrounding areas. Those other communities rely on social media for news about their struggles. In talking with some of the people I came in contact with one of their biggest fears was, They will be forgotten. I'm going back in a few weeks to help build a shed for a family that lost all their tools needed to help rebuild. These people are some of the nicest people I've ever encountered. Their outlook for the future is amazing looking at what they just went through. I know it makes me ashamed to have some of the pity parties I've had in the past. These people may never know a normal life again so please keep them in your prayers and your pocketbook open. This is not going to be an easy way back.

Lowe’s & NASCAR are giving to those in need. It is a wonderful Christmas gift to these families. Even those not getting a home must have a warm spot in their heart if hope & gratefulness in humanity. We must help one another & not expect the Government to be there. Congress trying to give themselves a 40% raise & treating us like peasants. We must unite & fix our country. Starting at home for those in need is a great start.

Jake of Precision Grading, for example, was there on day one clearing off debris from the roads, building bridges, removing vehicles from the rivers, grading property for RV and tiny home placement, all without asking for any money whatsoever and shunning the limelight. A true hero.

If you see this and can bring 20 lb tanks of propane to any church in WNC it will help. The hundreds of Buddy heaters keeping tents, sheds @nd campers warm need constant refilling so extra tanks for folks is much needed! Bethel Wesleyan Church in Flat Rock is a good distribution hub.
