Yesterday I met a Fire fighting crew from Puerto Rico that was brought in to help fight the fires. I couldn't thank them enough for Coming and helping us. I told him that my nephew is also a firefighter and that that made us family. Firefighters regarded each other as brothers and sisters and were one big family. I couldn't think them enough.

I have been watching the fires. I opened my door to let the dog out and fot a face full of smoke. I grew up down the hill, but always considered Baldy my playground as a kid. I have been praying for everyone in the path of the fires and hope all of the landmarks I grew up with, will still be there. Peace to you and your family.💕

I'm so sorry for your loss. I was ripped away from my childhood home at 18 but it's nothing special like this and I haven't seen it in about 15 years. This sucks I'm so sorry We all know the forest has to burn but it sucks that generations and generations before us refuse to let it burn in a healthy way so now we're losing beloved places and spaces to us. Stay strong my friend It sounds like you have a good community surrounding you
