You hear choral harmony, singing that doesn't sound synthetic, call and refrain, melody, a prologue, an epilogue elements of classical, jazz, decent articulate singing. In other words you hear all the elements that make damn good r and b pop music here. Where do we hear this kind of stuff today? JAYROB BRUTUS They were supporting someone at the Milton Keynes Bowl some years back and I could hear it all standing in the back garden of someone's house nearby.

Ralph Jackson Martin Fry is still out there. In fact, In June 2014 it was revealed that a dozen early tapes were discovered of rare remixes and unheard songs from ABC's first three albums. These were returned to him and he was delighted, but so far, he isn't sure what he's gonna do with them. The rediscovered songs "include a "That's It Folks!" mix of "So Hip It Hurts" from Zillionaire. From Beauty Stab, reams of early studio takes have come to light including one song, "You And Me," that never made the final album. From the Lexicon of Love era, the group's own, pre-Trevor Horne demos of "All of My Heart" have come to light, along with a reel entitled "4 Ever 2 Gether - The Outtake, Starring Martin Fry as Ken Dodd.

This was ABC'S biggest hit in America, reaching #5 on the BILLBOARD Hot 100. Superb track that encapsulates the Motown legend at his best (and ABC'S best as well).

@@thebestmusicmix9418 Valid point. In the USA, that song peaked at #9 in the BILLBOARD Hot 100. Their 3 other Top 40 hits reached #18, #20 and #25. LOOK OF LOVE, HOW TO BE A MILLIONAIRE, and POISON ARROW.

....you're right, Sir James; read my post about the time 'Smokes' himself was on the charts, WITH the namesake tribute song ABC gave him, & the rush to the TOP 10...'pins and needles' time, then..... ; )
