It's eight months later now and I like so many others, am still feeling the loss of this talented, warm man. Thank you so much for sharing this with us ABC News and doing a great job of keeping Prince in our memories (and hearts) instead of just doing other stories and forgetting about him. Peace to all of you.

They said that Prince was the first to make a movie over Michael Jackson and other artists but MJ did The Wiz in 1978. Prince was just the first to do concert film. The media always has to make comparisons and they often get them wrong, smh.
@A.Light337 жыл бұрын
misterTVman I think they mean a movie centered around an artist. Diana Ross was the lead in the Wiz. plus purple rain was all of Prince's music.

But thats when you know that you are a real fan! Dirty Mind is in his top 5' also not to forget his great late period, albums like The Rainbow Children [straight up underrated classic] & Lotus Flower/MPLSound' & his last 3 which I consider a trilogy 'Art Official Age' Hit & Run Phase 1&2' again criminally underrated

Prince died of an accidental overdose of fentanyl (many times the dosage of the prescription medication that he had often taken for extreme pain from years of jumping off pianos, stacks of speakers, etc.etc.) He likely thought that the medication was the legal painkiller, legally prescribed or not. His death was a terrible, TERRIBLE tragedy.
@wrldtvlr23 жыл бұрын
@@annabelliott Still, for the media to frame it as if Prince took excessive amounts of painkillers rather than saying that his meds contained potentially lethal amounts of fentanyl puts the stigma on him for treating his pain rather than looking at what the treating physician did. His death was totally preventable.
