Thank you for sharing. I wonder if the air lines need to be flushed with ETOH or something. Based on how much h2o my 60 gallon shop compressor makes, I wonder if a post compressor cooler / radiator with drain might help. Wonder if leak down test on old compressor might reveal rings not seating or more cross hatching needed. Donno...

I am just glad the problem is gone. Nerve wracking blowing oil for a 100 mile drive.

Is there a specific torque setting you used on the nut for the gear? I havent seen anything in the TMs about replacing these compressors and Im about to swap mine with the same model you used in this video. You're videos are going to be my TMs! Thanks for posting this.

The nut has a stop on it because the cam gear on this setup is pressure fit. I just use the smaller milwaukee impact gun to set it to about 150-200 ft lbs. Its a huge nut so I am sure that is plenty.
