Where i learned graphic designing i was told comic sans is the worst font to use for any kind of design & teacher teaches in big university since decades 😅 so not saying he's wrong or you are, it's actually up to individual's what they like & feel comfortable with!

Generally comic sans isn't the best font, but that's why I use it in the video, to show the power of customising typography!

Thank you! That's a really good question. I think it would be dependant on the font license. Each type vendor has custom licensing. Some are happy for you to have the rights to edited assets and others not so it isn't a one-size-fits-all! Whenever you're using a font, just double check the licensing agreement :)

In the settings, make sure 'Fill New Pencil Strokes' is selected. That should hopefully resolve the issue you're running into!

Morning Abi, I hope I find you well. I am a freehand illustrator or draw much better by freehand. I find the mouse so difficult to control and become frustrated when using the pencil tool. Do you use or recommend a tablet with a screen that I can link to my Adobe Illustrator on my mac.

Once you've created the offset path, I use the 'Unite' tool within the Pathfinder panel and send the united shape to the back. Keyboard Shortcut is Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + [ 😊

Ahh it's really difficult to provide an answer when I can't see exactly what the error is. What I'd recommend doing is repeating the step and adjust the settings each time (toggle everything off then slowly one by one back on again). It does take a while to get used to - I hope it starts working for you!
