ABOARD WITH JORD: first cruise with guests, opening night, cococay beach day, celebration, etc

I was onboard for the second sailing of Adventure of the Seas last week. #1 I love the idea of the behind the smile pins. #2 something that most people don't realize is OTHER responsibilities that the crew has. For example my muster station was D25. The Ice Cast manage at least from what I saw was D22, D23, D24 & D25. During that cruise the General alarm went off signaling an emergency on the ship and everyone needed to go to their Muster Stations. This was at 11:20pm when most of the guests were asleep and the Ice Cast was winding down. The Ice Cast was SPOT ON getting to their muster stations I was on Deck 8 going down the emergency stairs when they were manning the stations and attempting to determine the nature of the emergency. They were calm, controlled, polite, positive, and professional in their response. I was near you Jordan when the captain made the announcement that the cause of the alarm was an electrical fault that triggered the alarm and did not say Hi because you were working with your cast members to get things settled down. After talking to other guests our observations were that your team jumped to the call WITHOUT ANY DELAY and were switched fully ON into your passenger safety mode. Thank you!

@@jbauth You guys were awesome and this story needed to be shared. The cast was on point. If this was the "Real Deal" running toward danger is what heros do. The ice cast did that without delay or deliberation. Anyone that thinks you are "just ice scaters" can suck it! I know what I saw. Athletes using their training to perform a task. When the alarm went off you were there ready to do your job and save passengers. I would go to sea with your team ANYTIME!

@@jbauth one of the things that surprised me in your previous videos is your extra duties outside of the ice show (operating lights for Mamma Mia, muster drills, open ice, dancing, etc). Like a lot of people, I assumed that performer just performed but ya’ll do so much more! Another video about all the other stuff you do onboard would be interesting now that you have lots more followers who may not have seen older videos.

Younger i felt privileged to be able to go on a small island just to tan but damn, it wasn't a private beach on a private island in the Bahamas - i just had the Moet or Cliquot LOL.
