@@DannySmith862 a miscarriage happens because of misfortune. No one pays to have a miscarriage. Abortion happens out of the will of someone paying someone else to k*ll their unborn baby. There's a big difference.

“So?” I’m guessing you are a man less than 40? Maybe 25-30? So let me expand on these statistics because they will probably affect your future. In 2023 US women had 3,591,328 live births (not enough to replace the population). If the US continues to have 1026,700 abortions a year, ( I rechecked the statistics) and birth rates continue to plummet this will affect many aspects of your future life for the negative. BTW Miscarriages for 2023 were 2.7% of live births not abortions. Intentionally ending the life of a baby is evil and stupid.😢

@@barbarareed9308 What are you suggesting? That women should be forced to bear children because of the declining population? What a monster you are. You're talking about miscarriages recorded when the pregnancy was known. Most fertilized eggs miscarry without the woman even knowing she was pregnant.

@@DannySmith862 "women should be forced to bear children because of the declining population?" Women (& men) should be responsible with who/how many they sleep with & be adults who follow through with the consequences of their actions, not children who just do what their feelings tell them at the time.

This is a terrific speech and I support it wholeheartedly. I’m wondering what the proportion of abortion compared to miscarriage is. I feel like miscarriage is an issue that the pro life movement and evangelicals almost ignore completely. If we are willing to say that life is precious from the moment of conception then how are we going to support and encourage mothers and fathers who go through the pain of miscarriage? Are we still willing to recognize an affirm that they have lost a child or, is this glossed over with the rationalization that this is God’s will or isn’t something that we have direct control over. Miscarriage is something that almost every woman will go through at some point in their life and it is far from straightforward. Yet, women are encouraged to not announce their pregnancies until a certain point of time to effectively hide the miscarriages they are going through. I fear this confirms to them the sense that they are the ones that have to bear the enormous weight of making choices about their medical care during pregnancy. Additionally, because I don’t think men discussed this at all I don’t think that they are really prepared to support mothers in going through this as well.

The proportion in the U.S. is about 5 natural miscarriages to 7 abortions making miscarriage the second killer there.

Abortion is NOT an issue. Since 2001, abortion has been in decline every year since. Especially in 2022, 2023, and 2024 abortions are 90% in decline. I hate when both sides use an non-issue into one. I'm saying this as a Pro-Life person.

The last year for which the CDC reported a yearly national total for abortions is 2021. It found there were 625,978 abortions in the District of Columbia and the 46 states with available data that year, up from 597,355 in those states and D.C. in 2020. The corresponding figure for 2019 was 607,720. NO DATA SUPPLIED FOR /2’ 23’ or 24’. SO. YOU SEE THE NUMBERS HAVE ONLY GONE UP!!!!
