Hey, I genuinely think at this point in life I think you're WAY too hard on yourself right now. For me even when you want to be a bit of a perfectionist, sometimes you need to step back and realize that whatever you're making is genuinely okay. As long as to me it makes sense + you don't ramble too much,, I'm pretty gud with that Instead of chasing that point of perfectionism, I would rather reset and reflect on what goals I would want to take this project. For myself as a graphic designer at one point, I also do have perfectionistic tendencies and feel like having imposter syndrome, it's important to note that whatever you accomplished doesn't mean you'll be static in that place and be on a decline Tl:Dr - keep on creating shit that's yours and don't worry too much about it being absolute ass, love ya dude 😎

I’ll always say this but I definitely think you’re too hard on yourself. ‘Impostor syndrome manifests in a variety of ways. And a particularly insidious form is when it tells us that we can't inhabit a certain role because anything less than 100% is not enough. When we hold ourselves to unreasonable standards, we hold ourselves back. The reality is that we all have areas that we need to grow and improve in, and we always will. If we wait for perfection, we'll be waiting a long time - and in reality, we learn more (and more quickly) when we are challenged. While staying in your lane may feel safer, you're slowing your growth and keeping yourself from truly excelling.’ Just something to think about :) appreciate your work Taejiu

the kpop industry literally foments impostor syndrome, in its artists and audience, this for me is a clear example of it, I been trynna stay out of the kpop loop lately cause I notice this bout myself too, we all need a psychologist. high standards media do no good to our brain.

Hey, it is okay and valid to talk about how you feel creatively, no matter how high or how low it is. To me, your videos are really good but I understand the urge to want to do better. It makes sense that different videos will have different tones to them. I enjoy looking at your thumbnails the Midas touch one inspired me to get better with my own. I know you feel like you haven't given your best and you admit to being your own worst critic. I have heavily struggled with that too I think many of us do. It can feel like a dark void that everyone relates to but yet we don't know how to get out of it. So I guess we collectively as people have to figure out how to not be your worst enemy when maybe the situation is not as bad as our brains are making it out to be. Again it's easier said than done to figure out a way to not be your own worst critic but I guess addressing it is a big start. I think the direction you're taking is pretty good. You don't deserve to think that you are not worthy of your subscriber base. I wish you luck on your next piece of content because I want you to know that you are an inspiration for many creators out there so you have made your mark and you won't be forgotten ever.

Definitely take your time and prioritize yourself. Not only do both your well-being and your education come first, but personally, I've really enjoyed the content you've put out. After all, I'm here for your thoughts, not to pick apart your editing. (Though your editing is great, tbh). The internet will always have trolls and unnecessarily critical people. (For example, spelling "grief" incorrectly was clearly an accident and not a failing. It's up to other people to say "I know what he meant" and scroll on.) It's only human that it gets to you, and I'm so sorry it sounds like it has taken a toll. But those of us in the community who enjoy and appreciate your contributions are happy to wait for you to make videos that actually reflect your passion! This has gotten away from me and become lengthier than intended, but all this to say, I admire you for putting yourself out there and putting yourself first. Take care of yourself, friend.

Creator burnout is so real. So many people go through it. Anyone who hasn’t wasn’t creating for long enough. And when you factor in things like how a lot of older KPop fans (joined in 2021 and earlier) feel disconnected from the current industry and how KZbin’s policies make content creation feel like Sisyphus rolling his boulder uphill for eternity, it makes it even more daunting of a task to upload regularly. So, please don’t feel like you’re alone in this. You’re not. While I personally never felt like your video editing was subpar in any regard, I do respect your desire to keep improving and I know you’re going to do great in that area! As far as priorities lie, I tell everyone 24/7: If KZbin isn’t paying the bills, it should not take priority over school, work, enjoying life, hanging out with friends, going to concerts, etc. We’ve talked about all that you have going on in your life between academics and working and the commute times involved with both of those. You’ve got a lot on your plate and it’s only natural that KZbin would take a back seat. Focus on things that will actually benefit you and further your career prospects. Make sure to take time to have a socialize, exercise, touch some grass lol And if you have time for this hobby and it makes you happy, go for it! But don’t obligated to do so. We won’t forget you. At least, I won’t. And if I have to do enough remembering for everyone, then so be it! But yeah, it’s okay. The fact that you’re still hear after so much time is more than a lot of creators can say. Give yourself some credit! We’re all proud of you and will support you no matter what! ❤️

As someone that found your channel pretty early on in me getting into kpop in 2022 you've always been someone I've enjoyed watching and hearing your opinions even if I don't agree which doesn't happen often. I respect you wanting to improve your content and feel proud of what you've done and as someone how loves your longer videos with izone project being my favorite if it means we get less videos as a whole but they are longer style videos I'm here for it personally and I think others would be too.

Honestly, I really admire and appreciate your effort to note your weaknesses and improve this channel. I can't say what it is exactly, but there is something special about a lot of your videos, and I think you are a legitimately skilled content creator. I'm excited for what 2025 will bring. Keep up the good work and happy new year!

about the thumbnail quality, i do understand that you, as the owner and editor might feel bad about it...but honestly... it's not that bad...honestly its good...and when you included the MIDAS TOUCH thumbnail as an example for your 'bad' thumbnails...i was SHOCKED...like its actually one of my favs out there. its always good to look towards improving yourself, and i wish you all the best for your personal/career life and your channel...but i would also like to remind you that you are not an average ktuber who recycles content...i do NOT subscribe to ktube accounts cos they are always in some way or the other stupid, toxic, hateful, cliche, obsessed or biased towards someone/something...but YOU...being the one of the only rare ktubers i have subscribed to, speaks volume on genuinely how your content feels refreshing and actually meaningful.! THANKYOU TAEJIU!

I really feel you man, I've been having the same issues. I didn't upload for nearly 2 months until yesterday. Try not to be too critical of yourself, it is good to always look at your content with a critical lense and learn and from what you see, but don't look at yourself differently because of it. There is always somewhere you can learn and grow and it is not a bad thing. Your content is great and I'm looking forward to what you upload next!
