I was encouraged to pursue the Golden Mean, the Middle Way, through therapy in the 1980’s. My therapist was quite Freudian/Buddhist, which was a strange & interesting amalgamation of insight and inspiration. He encouraged non-attachment and non-judgement. Now more than 30 years later I could not be more grateful for his teachings. Being encouraged to seek out more of what repelled me, angered me, frightened me, etc., and to avoid over-identification with any idealized state of being was challenging, and supportive of acceptance of what Is. Rudolph Steiner encourages, “Neither sympathy or antipathy,” in response to what presents itself in this reality. Ralph’s encouragement was, “Learn your lessons and have fun!” It was excellent advise.

I’ve been having synchronicity experiences, personal revelations, and an increased interest in Jung over the last 6 months. Huge shoutout to the content creator here for sharing all of this. I wanted to share where briefly about one of these experiences because this channel was involved. When I was a kid my Dad worked for a company he and his friends started and the name of the company was none other than Abraxas. I believe it was named after a golden retriever that was named after a Santana album. A framed vinyl record of Santana’s Abraxas album hangs in my bedroom. Downstairs I have a denim laundry bag I made for him when I was 12 (29 years ago) with the word ABRAXAS written on it in all caps. Sitting in my room listening to this content and looking up at this word that has been there right above my head the entire time… it’s a peculiar moment compared to most. 🙂

I've gained so much from this Channel and from Jung through it. I took a psychology class in HS, & had to take two Psych classes in college and we barely touched on anything about Jung post 1913. The sad part about that is, I believe, his best work (at least most important spiritually) was when he was working on the Black and Red Books, The Sermons to the Dead, & his other works around this time in Jung's life. Thank you so much, for you have wisdom beyond your years. Your channel found me during a time in my own personal hell, unaware of any long-term way to get out. Things are getting better, but I need to incorporate this wisdom to the best of my abilities in all areas of my life to find TRUE solace & happiness. This particular video is one of my favorites, it introduces Abraxas. Without knowing who/what this is we stay on our karmic wheel, stuck in duality. ALSO, Thanks for ALL your time & effort. I'm looking forward to the next one... After this comment I'm jumping right in to the 3rd Sermon. Again, ty,,, You are a remarkable person who has and continues to guide me on my journey. Much blessings- Love & Light¡

Wow. At 11 minutes in I get it. It finally hit me after years of searching. Plurality, to understand God, to KNOW Theous-Hypsistos, you must accept the love and fear, the good and evil, the one and many. The Bible, old and New Testament is an allegorical painting of this wisdom. I’m speechless. Thank you so much for shedding light on this book. I’m infatuated with it.

@@flippizzle I thought this was alittle comical. I used Jung’s principles on my wife, from Genesis to Paul’s letters, whatever she wanted to throw at me that she learned from the church. In the end, I think I blew her mind alittle. It started as “what you are saying is blasphemous” then slowly turned into “it makes sense but that’s not what I was taught” I see it as progress👍🏻

Abraxas a Gnostic diety, God as a totality; Coniunctio. I am the LORD, and there is no other. I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the LORD, do all these thing -Isaiah 45:7 God as a totality is unfathomable to the limitations of a fragmented mind. Perhaps this is the allegory of The Fall, the separation, the exile from wholeness. If one cannot understand the unity of opposites in oneself, one cannot and will not be able to understand it in God. In Psychological alchemy, the unity of opposites within the psyche is paramount for the transmutation from a fragmented form to one that is complete within the mind; wholeness. The fragments of psyche manifest in the Zeitgeist of a dead God. We are here. Thank you for your work 🙏 I appreciate you. Is.

11:51 I once pondered what what it would be to create a perfect thing; so, I thought about making a piece of string to start. I made the string out of the perfect set of things. Then, I tied my perfect string into the perfectly arranged knot, so that it would rest upon itself perfectly. I wondered what would be the point of doing that.

Jung’s sermon made me think how the Nothingness could be paradoxical in a way. The axion of “As above so below; As within so without” seems to describe how our nirvana and the abyss is more about our collective unconscious processes. I’m curious to know is the month and the year Jung speaks of know as Aquarius . Is this the spirit of the times mentioned earlier ? Was Jung looking to the future when we was writing this ? Also is God a sort of superior or prime Archtype made of Abraxas -God-Devil ? This may seem a bit dim of me to ask but the collective unconscious, is this a genetic inheritance or a social subliminal construct handed down through one generational environment to the next? Do we have self control or are we puppets of this phenomenon of collective unconsciousness , this spirit of the depths? Do we have a choice in our day to day activities and behaviors or are we puppets on a the strings of a cosmic simulation? Do we have free will ? Or are we organic automatons ? Personally I do not think so . I always say God has no strings attached to us . I believe this work we endeavour on is the reprogramming of us away from the soullessness spirit of the times Jung I believe is speaking of . I think fear has no soul . I think the spirit of fear is nothing-ness because nothing is the ultimate death 💀 and nothing is scarier than that . Thus the saying fear is the absence of faith which is so painful it breaks the human psyche to find faith. I love the dichotomy of all of this . Great video. So though provoking. Something that causes us all to journey through our own souls .

You’ve opened up a lot of ideas, & questions, which will give me something to consider while listening my obsessive over and over way of learning. Knowing and knowing that you know is the first step. The world keeps that such a hidden thing, and there is nothing outside that can offer more than your own inner support and guidance. My thoughts in the moment, for what they’re worth
@merlinmakinson41852 жыл бұрын
@@Find-Your-Bliss- where I’m at in my personal process is the exploration and discovery of the archetypes in my every day thinking and behaviors. The shadow work has really brought peace and personal development for me . I think the idea of the God of the gods is basically the return of this concept of the eternal being behind the curtain pulling the strings on the things or entities we call God /Devil the yin Yang ☯️ of the Abraxas itself. A enternal force behind a great vail that is indescribable or knowable but none the less there . I may be wrong but I think where this may be going is to show the concept of “we are God” and that God is collectively us all . That the archetype of the God head is a reflection of what is within every human and that paradoxically this is a shadow . I love these videos they are so intellectually and spiritually moving.
@alchemyforyou7092 жыл бұрын
These are thought provoking questions worth discussing in depth. I also don't think we are organic automatons, because we have the potential for personal growth and change through individuation. That work is more of an unfolding than a reprogramming in my humble opinion. The soulessness spirit of any given Time mirrors itself to the individual, which mirrors back into a mass psychosis under a psychic epidemic of fear both individually and collectively. Fear, I would say is not so much a lack of faith but rather a lack of Truth. In contrast, the collective unconscious we all inherit, contains universal elements of instincts and archetypes "the archaic heritage of humanity" which is completely different. Again, it is my humble opinion that WE broke away (disconnected) from God/ Source or what ever one wishes to call it; and through the rekindllng to our authentic self, we become untethered from external influences that seem to STRING us along like puppets. We become whole individuals capable of transcendence where the divine spark is reunited with the divine flame...and that is Alchemy for You.😉

Is the struggle of man to accept and reconcile that good and evil, god and the devil, effective fullness and emptiness are one. So they are forever to 'to and fro' between the two (purgatory) where the pursuit of one always leads back to the other and know no rest? And this inability to reconcile hides Abraxas from our gaze? Just a thought and question I have while I was listening.

If Abraxas is effectiveness, doesn't that mean Abraxas still isn't quite the same as the pleroma. And as such Abraxas should have its opposite too. Maybe there is a better word for it, but that would be "effectivelessness". I wonder if there are some hints at that in gnostic literature? But yeah I'm not sure about this, since Abraxas isn't onedimensinal at all.

The serpent with the lionhead is Jaldboath, the Demiurgus, Satan or Arhiman. Abraxas is the chickengod with the two serpents for legs. He got the head of a rooster and a body of a human. The one serpent is Jaldaboath or Demiurgus, the other serpent is Lucifer. There are gnostics who say that the Demiurgus is the 360th emanation of Abraxas. 360 and the circle is round. For the rest, good work!

This stuff was already taught through the Bible. God is both creative, judging, destructive (Old Testament), self-sacrificial, compassionate and regenerational (New Testament). You are more like arguing semantics of the meta-narrative.
@HumbleUMedia2 жыл бұрын
Jung is getting away from these images and myths that people get trapped in, and being TRUE by saying it is IMPOSSIBLE to form or image God. Also, OT and NT Gods were both conscious and interacting with Man, whereas Jungs Abraxas is unconscious and does not speak directly to man according to Jung. In God’s infinite nature, we can have 1038482992 KZbin accounts do a meta-narrative and all combined still not describe the essence of “God”. And lastly, I’m covering Jung. Not arguing or pushing out any personal opinions... So I’m really confused by your comment. I do hope all is well 🙏
