Give that Absolute Watchmen an extra kiss for me. The is my most treasured item in my comic collection. I think the John Higgins colors were ‘ enhanced’ improving the overall impact IMHO. I can’t wait for the Alan Moore Saga of the Swamp Thing to com out this summer. Thank you thank you!

Absolute editions are my favorite version of comics. So far I have Watchmen, Green Lantern Sinestro Corps War, Green Lantern Rebirth, Killing Joke, and Batman Inc. I'm not sure yet if I'll be getting Swamp thing since I still haven't read it. Great video!

Great video Wallace. I also prefer absolute editions over any other format and not just because the art looks better. Some comics are unreadable in smaller formats. The one that comes to mind is V for Vendetta which i find really hard to read in regular format because the text is so small. Had to buy the absolute edition to finish reading it.

I love the large format myself too! I fell in love with them from the start but I usually reserve it for my very favourite series and for books that look better in a bigger format! I loved the "Absolute Promethea" and "Absolute Sandman" because of the bigger art!!! And same with the "V for Vendetta' too! Love that slipcase for that one!!! It's probably the reason I loved the "Wednesday Comics" that DC did back in 2007!!! Big comics on big pages!!! Thanks for the comment and keep them coming! Yeah. It's driving me crazy too! I actually replaced the battery but it keeps beeping. I think I'm gonna try to cover it with something for future episodes. The absolute editions are fantastic and i wish Marvel would do something simillar. I only have 3 absolutes Long Halloween, All-Star Batman and Alex Ross Worlds Greatest Superheroes. I will pickup the Swamp Thing when is comes out. As always Wallace a great great video 👍👍

@@Devoman666 I reserve the Absolute Edition purchases for my most favourite comics! The "Absolute Sandman" series is probably my favourite!!! Thanks for the comment, Tim! And of course, keep them coming! I love chatting about the comics I love. That's why I dedicated the show to the books that I and my viewers love rather than talking about what we don't like. These days there's more than enough sites and people out there talking about comics that they hate. I find when people are discussing comics that they love, you get a much better selection of books to investigate and talk about rather than focusing on bad books. I've found that I've been exposed to a lot of great books through the Library of Graphic Literature Facebook page due to this policy. And it cuts down on the constant bickering you find on some sites. Meanwhile...have yourself a great weekend!!! And always feel free to make requests too!
