Absolutely Insane SIX/Locket COMBO ! MH3 Modern | MTGO

Hello everyone! Today I am playing amazing MONO GREEN SIX LOCKET BREW! This is completly new arctype that MH3 made playable. Big shout-out to BEANO from discord for posting similar simic list on reddit. He played simic version and after discussing with him i brewed this list. This deck is pretty cheap (except Urza Saga) and The one ring is not mandatory in this list and can be replaced. Combo works that we have to have Locket of Yesterdays on the field and Chromatic Star or Conjurer's Bauble in your graveyard. We have to have SIX on the board with Dakmor Salvage . We discard the Dakmor Salvage and play Conjurer's Bauble or Chromatic Star for 0 mana then draw a card and then dredge 2 and you repeat that infinite times. So what that does is you mill half of your deck and find your missing pieces. The pieces you need is 2 Life from the Loam and Mox Amber. If you have Mox Amber in the graveyard you can start doing Life from the Loam loop (you get infinite mana). With that mana we play Talisman of Curiosity which gives us colorless mana to play Glaring Fleshraker which means if we replay Conjurer's Bauble 20 times you win the game! Cool deck. Talisman of Curiosity should be switched for Talisman of Resilience to potentially pay for Dismember.

If you use Altar of Dementia instead of Grinding Station, you can kill turn 2 if you locket, and malevolent rumblings into 2 myr retriever and an altar. Sac spawn play altar, play a retriever from hand, infinite mill your opponent to death. I feel like Altar of Dementia may let us kill a turn earlier for normal gameplay.

Nah, Grinding Station is usually better. I thought it costed 3. We can turn 2 win, albeit unlikely though, which is good to know

Been playing six in Timeless, the card is super slept on. This brew is fantastic, cannot wait to see where this goes in the future. Definitely gonna build this one. 10/10 would bring to PTQ

@26:23 I know you pointed it out too but is deff weird you conceeded. I feel like you have the win here. Sac spawn->discard salvage to play bauble->trigger freshracker (get new spawn, ping opp)->sac bauble to dredge salvage, rinse and repeat to mill whole deck and then just loop baubles between yard/deck/hand to win

Sorry but I don’t understand the mana infinity combo with mox and loam, shouldn’t be used grinding station to sac the mox?

Play loam for 1 mana when you have 2nd in yard with locket on field, use 1 land to dredge loam back, and 2 lands to make mana, makes alot of mana to play stuff from yard.

Edit: I think the same is true with star, you just need 2 mana to start and Crack the star, which gives you back a mana and makes a spawn, getting us back to 2 mana Do you actually even need locket of yesterdays for the bauble kill? Start: A six and a fleshraker on board, a dakmor salvage in hand, a bauble in either hand or Graveyard, and at least one mana 1. Cast bauble by pitching dakmor and the one mana (or just from hand without pitching dakmor), trigger fleshraker making a spawn, triggering fleshraker to ping 1. 2. Crack bauble, targeting nothing, dredging dakmor instead of drawing, putting 2 cards in the bin. And now aren't we back to the starting position, except the opponent has been pinged for one damage? Was a bit confused at minute 26, because I'm pretty sure you can combo, even without the locket - unless I'm glazing over something crucial

Locket is much easier to get on the field as it's saga tutorable and 2/2 creature is too easy to kill.

You mentioned replacing the one ring, but there is a scenario where you can loop one rings turn after turn to give you protection until you have a combo that wins. Very niche situation, but could be a thing

Of course, ring is great, but that is for budget reasons as its more expensive then entire reat of the deck

@@soirif9379 simic with Tamiyo, Emry, Kappa, Rings, ditching other comboes except main one. Beano from my discord is developing that list, i might try it at some point too. You can discuss it with him and other people, maybe deck could use it's own discord in near future too.

Since I play Animar in commander it got me thinking that perhaps Ancestral Statue might be a good angle in the deck or that their might even be a Red Green variant to brew with impact tremors for faster kills.

@@dack_fayden0789 statue guy is an artifact creature where if he’s cheap enough you can actually use the trigger to bounce itself back to hand to recast infinitely. Just adds redundancy to the combo.
