Abstract art on the gel plate: acrylic paint and handmade stencils

This is a simple process. I use 4 acrylic paints and DIY stencils.
This is a full process video.
I used gel plate, brayer, paintbrush, stencils, paper and acrylic paint.
Alizarin crimson, turquoise blue, yellow ochre and white.
This is 4 layers (I’m sure) and 1 pull.

Hi D, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😁 Sorry for the delayed reply, I had to put everything to the side as I was spring cleaning bedrooms and it’s a rubbish job when the bedrooms belong to teenagers. I have entered this into an open exhibition for Scottish academy. I don’t expect it to be picked, but if you don’t try… This one grows on me every time I look at it. I’ve even named it. Medieval fantasy. Ok, I’m rambling and nerdy now 😂

Hi, I loved this one too. I entered it for royal Scottish academy and it was declined...nicely. I was a bit disappointed as I thought this had a wee bit of magic in the shapes, like fighting dragons and knights. But it looks good on my wall!!! I want to insert a lot of emojis but Im using the laptop and don't know how to find them on here!!!

@@quirkyqueens it has an ancient look about it, almost like the Mayans from South America. I love ancient civilizations and old, looks like it was dug up kind of art.

I have a book called “encyclopaedia of signs and symbols” white cover. It’s cheap on eBay, pennies over postage. It’s full of pictures of ancient symbols. If you don’t have it, you will like it.
