Lol it’s always more fun when the opponent doesn’t find the resign button and you can punish it by taking everything.
@saisusato2871 Жыл бұрын
You should never resign unless checkmate is literally unavoidable, you can always learn something and even convert the position, especially beginners shouldn't resign.

Michael51 Any chance that this KIA series may be turned into a Chessable course? I played the pure KIA set-up in the 70's and 80's so good to see you breathing life back into it.

Not sure about that in the near future, but it’s an idea!

Excellent stuff! I can’t wait until the series gets around 1800 so I can see how it use it against common lines I’ll see at this elo.

i'm loving this series! and thanks for sticking to the "spirit" of the kings indian rather than playing some moves that you might think are better

in the first game, on move 16 instead of Nc4 wasn't better Bxc6? If he takes back with the pawn, you can fork the queen and the rook. if he takes the knight you can take the pawn on b7 threatening the rook, so he has to take the bishop. then you collect the black bishop on e5. in the end you have 2 minor pieces and one pawn for two minor pieces. does it work or am I wrong?
@AlexBanzea2 жыл бұрын
It works, but everything wins at that point with the extra piece. My goal is to trade everything and avoid any potential counterplay!

When when we see games with the KIA against higher rated players? Beating beginners only gets you so far...
@archibaldmcglasson71112 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure if it's solid enough for gms to play, I doubt it. He is still climbing with it though, just pay attention to the themes.
