I really liked the style of this video in avoiding the easy pawn grabs in the opening and explaining the common themes. It helps me take the lessons into my games more easily!

Watching a number of these videos is not only helping me learn the nuts and bolts of openings, but also the deliberate thought process that Count puts into every move. He'll sometimes consider 5 different moves and weigh the pros and cons of how each might weaken his position. This example has been of help to me as I've realized that so many of my moves are done with really meager consideration. Count is an IM and yet and he does much more thinking and deliberation than I do as far lower-rated player.

Old video, but I'm surprised and impressed how well not bringing the F bishop to get rid of the early knight attack works! Its another C pawn guard now ✊

this is a really good entertaining and informative series. I started playing about 18 months ago and taught myself the KID to play against most of whites openings. Now i know I can use similar ideas as white in the KIA, thanks!

Yep. Knowing how to trade down can finish games quickly.

Excellent videos! Consider the French defense instead of Stafford Gambit. So many club players play the French which would have a lot more learning value.

The opponent didn't realize he faced the KIAttack until it was way too late and his position crumbled like dry bread.

Beautiful Queen sacking at the end. Usually I am doing the same in my games, without any compensation 😜🤣

thank you so much for all the contents and sharing your knowledge in a very organized fashion…i have two questions: a) i should ignore free pawns in the center in the beginning? and b) what do you think of the best at GM Aman plays it in his speed run starting with e4 and eventually king h2
