Listen, I was born in January 1970 so I grew up listening to Elton John. He was one of my mom‘s favorite artists. The man is a genius.

I was probably at this concert. Saw him in Sydney 13 times from 79 to 87. Then once in Perth, then finally two of the farewell tour, at the Cirimet Winery in Brisbane then again in Townsville. Was most fortunate to meet him and spent nearly 3 hours in his presence. He was really lovely toward me, even gave me his coyish smile, a kiss and a hug! Still have the autographed single and music books, plus those of the band members. Not every fan gets to meet their hero.

Elton is the MAN!! He could play a concert for 3 hours, never play the same song twice, and play nothing but hit after hit after hit!!

There’s a reason he’s called “SIR” Elton John. Saw him during his farewell tour - what a showman!

I’ve seen Elton John three times in concert. He definitely knows how to entertain an audience.

Saw him last year in Orlando at one of his final shows. He still sounds amazing live. 3 hour drive to see him was worth every penny and then some. He played for 2.5 hours no break.

Early 70's my young teenage years oh the memories 😂 This outfit is kinda tame for Elton, he used to really be outrageous 😂p.s. Elton loved Jerry Lee Lewis.

I was just looking up some of his EARLIER attire...I was thinking the same thing as you mentioned above...This is DEFINITELY on the bottom of his over the top costumes...😂😂

Elton John was unique. The hair and earrings should tell you all you need to know. He is a great musician and piano player. Love your reaction as always. ♥

I saw this tour in NY. I also went 7 times to the Farewell tour. Four times in NY then DC, Vegas and the last US show at Dodgers Stadium

Ray Charles, Elton John, Jerry Lee Lewis, are all absolutely fantastic!!! There is a piano player named Floyd Kramer & whenever he played the piano it literally sounded like the piano was singing the vocals of the songs he was playing . I just feel that Floyd Kramer got the proper acknowledgements & praise for his talent!!! Loved this reaction!!! I love Elton John!!!

Love Elton John, great song, among many awesome songs! Elton was a character on stage!!❤❤ One of my favorites is his own video for Pinball Wizard from the Tommy movie/album by The Who! So fun! Don’t know if you have done that one or not. Great AB!!❤❤❤

One of if not the best concert I've ever been to, was Elton John and Billy Joel. Talk about amazing!!! I graduated high school in 1987 so I've seen most of the great artists of my time. So that's saying something.

Here's a little tip. If a song is written in the 70s then you have to hear the band or artist sing that song when it first came out at its original beauty and luster. If they have new songs then use their new live videos. But in order for you to get the actual sound that it was meant to have you have to do it when they were younger when it first came out. I'm an old lady so I can safely say that some of these guys and girls don't have the voices that they used to have when they were younger so the songs aren't the same. Sometimes they actually kind of suck.

Love Elton, but unfortunately if you didn’t already know the song, you wouldn't understand a thing he sang. This concert is worth the piano playing, if nothing else.

I’ve always loved this song. It’s just so much fun. But I never understood the words and back in the day there was no Internet lyric database, lol. Unless the artist put the lyrics on the back of the album you were out of luck. I’ve since looked them up, but I still don’t remember them when I sing along.😂

studio is too slow the best versions from from 95 and 85 ngl
@valedslinger62905 ай бұрын
@@satyabratamishra4670 I can see better versions live , but not that one. By 95 Elton had changed so much I wasn't drawn to him much. But Put 11/ 17/70 album on and his small club energy hooked me. The early to late 70s was his time being a epic figure in music. I been there since the start.
@ShelliGriffith-mg9jt7 ай бұрын
If you really want to appreciate these songs LIVE, then please chose the earliest video's of the artists singing them. These artists are OLD now so they are lacking the glory of their younger voices when it was first recorded.
