Do Kyungsoo is just incredible in every sense. He is one of the few vocalists who can make your heart flutter and cause a storm of emotions. He manages his deep voice and sweet timbre with such ease that the same part can sound completely different "starting very roughly and ending unrealistically gently". In "Call Me Baby" you will see there are only 10 members (EXO originally had 12 members).This MV came out in 2015 and it was the first MV after 2 of their Chinese members left -- Kris left right after their "Overdose" MV came out and Luhan left about 6 months later in 2014. This also was the last MV were we see Tao, the third Chinese member that left the group. Tao (The tall, blond with the orange shoes who is the youngest member of EXO-M) left the group shortly after "Call Me Baby." In the beginning when EXO had 12 members they produced all their songs in both Korean and Mandarin, and they promoted as two groups who were part of the larger group of EXO -- EXO-K (Korean) and EXO-M (Mandarin Chinese). But after the Chinese members left, they no longer had enough EXO-M members to promote on their own so they officially combined the groups into one with 9 members. Now that they no longer promote as the two separate groups, they now only produce their main tracks in both Korean and Mandarin. However, they still produce a Korean version and a Mandarin version of almost all of their MVs. Lay is the only Chinese member left, but all the members learn the lyrics in Mandarin for their Chinese versions of their songs. EXO's fans are called EXO-L because L falls right between K and M in the alphabet. EXO-Ls are what bonds the two halves of the group together. Get it? EXO-K, EXO-L, EXO-M. The L in the name stands for Love. Because you like this song so much, you should also check out the EXO-M Mandarin Chinese version of "Call Me Baby." If you watch the two versions side by side, you will see that the members that are featured in each part are different and even in the dance sections where you might think "it looks the same" there are different members doing different parts. Their MVs may look similar, but that's only because they filmed the MV twice and deliberately made the scenes look the same. Also if you really pay attention, the scenes may look the same, but the members who sing the parts are different depending on the version that you watch. For example, in the Mandarin version you will see the EXO-M members featured more (Lay, Xiumin, Chen and Tao) and they sing the main parts, and in the Korean version the EXO-K members (D.O., Baekhyun, Chanyeol, Sehun, Suho and Kai) sing those same parts. In the Korean version a lot of the main parts were sung by D.O., but if you watch the mandarin version you will see that Lay sings those parts, and in the Mandarin version the rap was done by Tao and Xiumin, where in the Korean version it's Chanyeol and Sehun, etc. Also if you watch the Mandarin version you will be able to see a different sports car with Tao driving the car instead of Kai. Fun fact: Leading up to the release of the "Call Me Baby" MV, there were 10 Pathcode teasers that were released over several weeks. There was a short teaser video for each of the members, and combined with clues from an SM Entertainment twitter account, we had to piece together the story and solve the mystery to reveal the release date and title of EXO's new song, which ended up being "Call Me Baby." If you notice, there are 10 letters in the title "Call Me Baby" so there was one letter per EXO member. If you want to watch their Pathcode teasers just search SM's KZbin channel. They are all there. The stories in the teasers also connect to EXO's larger storyline as well, and it is thought that they not only show clues to "Call Me Baby," but they also reveal more clues to EXO's storyline and tell a little more of EXO's story. The Pathcodes are super interesting and very mysterious, just like everything EXO does.

You need to experience some of their live performances now. The best way to see their lives is to see a section of about 4/5 songs linked together as that is how they are organised. The only difficulty is catching the best number of members for each - injury, military, China/South Korea political differences being the man causes of line up changes. SM Entertainment assembled the best vocal group I've seen in a long time. Every member has vocal agility. When members have to do mandatory military service, a rapper then sings in their place and vice versa. A multi-talented group, instrumentalists, composers, actors, models. D.O. has been collecting people with "Baby Girl" since day one, the mans got Soul. Teddy Riley killed this track, New Jack Swing. Some of EXO's best tracks have no MV... B-Sides win. EXO's quality in music can't be touched. Their discography is insane. You can tell money was spent on great producers and with their voices... it's pure magic. EXO, my R&B/Soul, brothas from another motha.

EXO never fails to disappoint their songs, their choreographies, their mv's, and the looks they give us. Even their live performances are amazing. I do recommend listening to one of their newer songs; EXO's Gravity live performance is probably amazing and it does not fail to get one hype. I am loving the fact that you are diving into and EXO and are really falling into their stuff. Cannot wait to see you react to some of the dance practices in the future if you ever get the chance! *This EXO video consists of 10 members/8 Koreans and 2 Chinese (Tao/Lay), the other 2 Chinese (Luhan/Kris) left the group. A year after Tao left and several years after Lay had to leave due to political problems between Korea/China however Lay still remains as part of the group. When you said they can do everything and you want to see their growth. I was thinking that you should react to their individual guides (9 of them from Cesar Oh latest ones and group video as well) you will be surprised that actually they can do lot of things each of them and you will be able to see their growth through their solo works as well, it's just amazing. Bias in EXO for EXO-Ls are not possible. It changes everytime, for me everyday!!!! All 9 are my bais and bias wreckers. All are my favourites, I love all of them♡♡

The fan base is exo-l and it's pronounced like you are just saying the letters, "x-o-l".
