For me.. EXO is the DOPEST and the most UNIQUE band. Other kpop bands were repackage for western audience particularly in the USA.. their style became too mainstream and became too american pop. While EXO, even though they outshone KPOP itself they still maintain their origin which is KPOP. Even though KPOP is becoming so huge in western, EXO nevr tried to change their style just to keep up with other kpop bands. They remain so AUTHENTIC. Every EXO song is different and they keep on experimenting. I never liked kpop before..I hated it. But, when I found out about EXO ...gosh! My world changed. They are just amazingly magical. Um I hate to tell you, but almost their and kpop itself was built on music that originated in the US so let's not get that twisted because the language is in Korean and sometimes Chinese and Japanese. Also a lot of their songs have either US/W western writers or producers. I really don't understand you acting as if their music puffed out of kpop thin air. Even the style in which many of them sing and rap were influenced from western artists. I think EXO are amazing but I cannot stand it when kpop fans act as if the music they make and perform weren't heavily influenced by western artists and music

The origin of "ROSE" is English and the same goes with "Si Fueras Mía", it is originally Spanish! SM purchased the copyright and lyrical it into Korean (D.O participated in ROSE Korean lyrical) BUT D.O. really like how the demo was so he included into his album!

Okay, but Tell me what is love is legendary. One of the best r'n'b song that was ever written (along with Sorry sorry answer by Super Junior - their legendary senior labelmate group, the original blueprint for EXO), period. Sung by D.O. and the genious singer, composer, producer, vocal trainer icon Yoo Young Jin itself. Absolute eargasm and out of body experience.

To understand the story in EXO's "Ko Ko Bop" MV, you have to be aware that the story in "Ko Ko Bop" is connected to the story in their "Lucky One" MV. "Ko Ko Bop" may look trippy and crazy, but if you understand EXO's storyline you will see that everything was done for a specific reason. There are 8 members in "Ko Ko Bop." This MV came out in 2017 and it was the first MV where Lay, their Chinese member, was unable to participate because of the political issues between the Korean and Chinese government at the time. I can see how people might think that Ko Ko Bop is a drug they are all taking and that is why they are acting like they are high and kind of in a loopy drugged-like state. But to really understand what is happening in "Ko Ko Bop," you have to understand what is happening in their "Lucky One" MV. In "Lucky One" EXO has been captured by the Red Force who is doing experiments on EXO to try and figure out what makes them special, and to find a way to prevent them from finding and protecting the Tree of Life, etc. The members all use their powers to escape from the government facility and this is where theories say that the story in "Ko Ko Bop" picks up right after they have escaped in "Lucky One". The blue Ko Ko Bop drink that Suho mixes and the members drink, and the pills or wafers you see them eating, was originally thought to be an elixir that is helping the members to detox from the drugs the Red Force gave them when they were being held against their will in the "Lucky One" MV. According to SM Entertainment the story in "Ko Ko Bop" also shows the members soon after they have arrived on Earth and they are all experimenting with their powers. That is why in "Ko Ko Bop" you see Kai with the power of teleportation using his power to levitate and you see him do the "treadmill" move next to the car. Suho with the power to control water jumps into the water and disappears, and later appears inside the washing machine, etc. Xiumin has the power of snow/ice/frost so he is using his power to create a cloud to fill the glass. Sehun uses his power to control wind to make objects float in the air. D.O. accidentally uses his power of strength/force and splits open the ground when he falls down. You see Chen with the power of thunder/lightning/electricity playing with his power. Baekhyun use his power of light as he throws the ball in the air and creates that huge flash of light, and Chanyeol uses his power of fire to create the fireworks when he bounces the ball into the sky. The car also looks like it's driving by itself because they are using their powers to control the car, etc. Their unbridled use of their powers and the haphazard way they play with their environment around them can be explained by the fact that they were drugged in "Lucky One" and while they are still dealing with the drugs in their system, in "Ko Ko Bop" their inhibitions are lowered and they use their powers without caution. Those tattoos you can see are fake, but like everything SM does, they aren't just random tattoos, they are specific images and messages as part of EXO's storyline. So part of their story goes: The members were trapped in the maze by the Red Force in "Overdose" and while they were trapped they were captured and moved to the government facility in "Lucky One" and after escaping in "Lucky One" we see them detoxing in "Ko Ko Bop." However, since then, we now have more information after EXO's "Obsession" MV part of the story was released, where we have discovered that the Red Force has created X-EXO clones. So some theories now think that instead of "Ko Ko Bop" being about the EXO members, it might be showing us X-EXO. In "Obsession," the members in the bright colors with the crazy hair and makeup were the X-EXO clones and the members in the all black outfits were EXO. So now some theories think that maybe because "Ko Ko Bop" is so colorful, that it is showing us X-EXO right after they were brought to life, and this is their first time out in the world. So X-EXO are playing with their powers and trying to figure out how they work, and they are getting acclimated to their environment, etc. But, as you can see, to make it even more difficult to follow the story, nothing is in chronological order. As fans we have to become detectives and analyze everything that EXO does in order to try and figure out where each piece fits within the larger storyline. Although, at this point it's only theories and educated guesses. With every new release from EXO it adds another piece to their story. Sometimes that new piece helps to confirm what we thought was happening and other times it turns everything on its head and we realize that what we thought was happening wasn't even close. We can only hope that someday SM will finally explain everything, so we will know whether what we have been thinking all along is correct.

Thanks for reacting to EXO! They have a group concept since debut, they are aliens from planet EXO. Each member has a different superpower, which they use to guard the tree of life against the Red Force. Their debut song MAMA tells a bit of the concept. The group was split into two, EXO-K performing in Korean and EXO-M performing in Mandarin Chinese. The fandom name is EXO-L standing for love, also L comes between K & M so it ties the group and the fandom together. WE ARE ONE is the group’s motto. Ko Ko Bop is a part of their storyline as they were drugged by the Red Force in their MV "Lucky One" so this is like the effect after the escape. Great reaction, enjoyed it sooo much, thank you. So happy you like them. The fans are called EXO-L. Back in the day, when there was still 12 members they devided into two groups of 6. One was EXO-K (sang in korean) and the other was EXO-M (sang in mandarin/chinese). L is between K and M. So EXO-L (L is also for Love). I would really recomend wathing Love Shot or some of their ballads like Sing for you, Miracles in December or Promise (but you should save Promise for later on, it will hit different when you're deeper into the fandom. It is a song they wrote and composed themselves specialy for us fans. They made the song when the three members left. They felt bad because the motto is We are one and they promised to be together, yet some of them left and it hurt them and us real bad. So they made a new promise with the song, a promise to never make the fans cry and be THAT hurt again. The lyrics are soooo emocional as well as they are while singing it live.). There's actually a story in each MV and to understand them you have to watch their debut song in 2012 "MAMA" ..there is the EXO-K for korean version of it and the other EXO-M for the mandarin or chinese version. There is a short intro to the MV (movie like if you ask me 😊) The EXO members has powers you see and from another planet as the theme made for them by SM Entertainment. So when you watch any of their MV there seem to be a trace of this theme..like here in Kokobop it was said that they were testing their powers here on earth thats why you see Xiumin mixing his drink with a floating cloud over it..Kai floating on a cloud..DO cracked the ground when he fell back and others. The MV MAMA you will see them showing each of them testing their powers and such. You'll also get to see the BABY EXO's..how young yet badass they were then till now.😁😊

Bruh, I love your reactions!!! You drank the Kool aid, you get EXO. I'm still a baby EXO-L but am loving this journey of learning about them. These reactions and senior EXO-Ls are giving me so much knowledge. Don't be discouraged we'll eventually know everything about them. But another thing for you to pay attention is who produces their songs and then you'll understand why certain songs sound like they do.
