Pavarotti once said that Elvis could have been one of the best opera singers ever if he had the right training. He said that Elvis could sing like him, but he could not sing like Elvis. Such a great compliment from one of the best tenors ever. I love Pavarotti!!❤❤❤ You should do another Elvis reaction in honor of his birthday yesterday. ❤

The greatest operatic tenor ever. Nessun Dorma - No sleep or no one sleeps. He was known as 'The King of the High C'. Check out "Ave Maria". This is an Italian opera. He sang this at the opening ceremony of the 2006 Winter Olympics in Italy. He opens his mouth and the angels sing. He passed away in 2007 of pancreatic cancer. RIP Luciano. Check out The Three Tenors in concert at Los Angeles in 1994. You will be amazed. This takes a lot of practice.

@@jackwhitbread4583 if you don't like Lawrence Brownlee, that's okay, I don't like Marcello Alvarez or Jonas Kaufmann, but to call Mr. Brownlee inferior? On what basis do you consider him inferior? I mean from a pedagogical standpoint. In other words, what part of your education is sufficient to determine one's craft? Unless, of course, you just don't like him but used the word inferior.

Not that understanding matters when Luciano sings this song but here is the translation. "Nobody shall sleep!... Nobody shall sleep! Even you, oh Princess, in your cold room, watch the stars, that tremble with love and with hope. But my secret is hidden within me, my name no one shall know... No!...No!... On your mouth, I will tell it when the light shines. And my kiss will dissolve the silence that makes you mine!... (No one will know his name and we must, alas, die.) Vanish, o night! Set, stars! Set, stars! At dawn, I will win! I will win! I will win!"

In 1985 Pavarotti performed in Portland and I was given a ticket. I’m a jazz and swing drummer, American Songbook band all that, maybe some classical once in awhile, but opera is really not my thing. Hearing Pavarotti that evening changed my mind. I think the change for me was the obvious instrument-level command of his voice, absolutely exquisite.

Yes! An absolute MUST. Pavarotti hosted a series of benefit concerts between 1992 and 2003, in his home town of Modena, Italy. The collaboration with James Brown is from one of those concerts. His duet with Tracy Chapman ("Baby Can I Hold You Tonight") is another great performance...and with Skunk Anansie ("You'll Follow Me Down") yet another. Given that there were 10 concerts with multiple artists in each one, there are a staggering number of mind-blowing performances.

Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than seven musical instruments and sings in more than twelve(12) languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices , Dimash has his own style and is one of the forerunners of the "POPera" he also has a very pleasant, HUMBLE and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, It has a very wide vocal range of approximately 7 octaves ,he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, TENOR , Soprano, counter TENOR, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, Staccato, whistle tone, reaching a( D8 )live "Outside of Piano"at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from USA 🇺🇸 "Dears" Forever ❤️ Sorry for copying and pasting my informative comment in ALL the Video reactions to Dimash what I see but I do it with the intention of sharing information about him and what I think that in the music industry there are many artists who have been successful and have no talent and are bad people and they do not set a good example for the youth, Dimash and his music deserve to triumph in America, Europe and the whole WORLD, do you want to have already read my comment please come by without problem there is always someone who for the first time knows this information and I won't get tired of sharing it with all my friends"Dear" around the world, thanks for reading and for supporting Dimash 🙏🏻S.O.S. Luciano Pavarotti is one of the greatest performers of Opera, if not the best. The training for this tipe of music takes years. What you are waTching here is pure talent plus hard preparation at the hightest level, ad that's all folks!

This song comes from the opera “Turandot”. A princess named Turandot does not like men. She tells her numerous suitors that they can marry her if they can guess her name before dawn. Otherwise, they will be put to death. The latest one sings this song in which he expresses his love and vows to guess her name and win her hand.

Opera singers are trained to also use their diaphragm, chest, shoulder and stomach muscles, so that their full lung capacity is available, and to control it, allowing sound and air to come out, bit by bit- not just using the breath in the nostrils which is common in untrained singers.

I love your reaction. You really need to go to an opera in your city and experience it in person. A legitimate opera house doesn’t use microphones. The singer must be audible (often OVER an orchestra) in a theatre that holds typically 1000-3800 people. Besides being theatrical and musical, it’s also an athletic accomplishment to be heard in a space that large WITHOUT amplification….and then do it again the next day sounding perfectly fresh 🤔

You can tell by the expression on his face that he knew he had just delivered the GOAT performance of that aria. As for what he did , dropping his jaw, . . . he actually taught a Master Class, on video about his technique. A little searching and you will likely find it.

7 months ago you reacted to Rob & Austin of Home Free do this. Though they gave a fine performance, it was nothing like this. Why? Pavarotti was one of the greatest tenors in Opera. Certainly my favorite.
