Very disappointed in the comments here. Why such hatred against the UAE? It has done amazingly well for somewhere that was just a desert. They have the right to dictate how they live and they honestly provide a great quality of life for a place that doesn't have income tax. If you want to be mad about how Indians and Philippinos get less salaries here, then maybe be mad about why rich rulers of India and Philippines don't take care of their own citizens. That being said, it's constantly improving Many expats want to build this country more. I hope they give citizenship to who deserves it

@@nepal-everyday Not sure why you point fingers at a supply-demand market for expatriates when superpowers like America refuse to raise the minimum wage for their own naturalized citizens. I do agree that they sometimes receive a salary that is very hard to live with. But this applies to all other nations, especially the nations where the workers come from that should not force its own citizens to go abroad and work for a measly salary so their family at home doesn't starve. The source of the problem is the home country in my opinion However, yes, it has a lot of progress it still needs to make. But for a 49 year old country? Amazing. Absolutely amazing

Which is a major theme of both the Emirates' Federal and Local Government, uniting the 7 monarchies into a constitunal federation, uniting it's diverse citizens of Beduin and Hadraite (Urbanised) Arabs, Belouchi, 'Eyams and Persian into one nationality, entities uniting for one common goal, etc... The Arabic word community on the other hand is "Mujtam'â" مجتمع
