I watch your videos because I always get something useful from them. I can now say that the idea of abundantia is stucked with me in my professional life that I'm starting to build. Once again a video answering a question I didn't even know I had. I'm working on treating KZbin as a business and getting a stronger strategy to grow- and as an edutainment channel lemme tell you- it ain't easy to get a clear picture of what to do to improve. The "6-star experience" idea is game changing. Already got huge value and I'm not even halfway through the video yet. And no paywall! Bravo.

It's such a great idea to apply this to a youtube based business! I definitely haven't been thinking about my channel the right way because I've found the tech side so challenging and I keep thinking 'it's good enough'. I have to make it a higher star set of videos for the clients I'm hoping to serve!

This was GREAT. EXTREMELY valuable. I am currently employed but recently moved into being a remote worker (something I've wanted for a long time), I also own my art business which is SUPER fresh and I'm learning a lot from you and Leon about how to do business best. AND I've also started a youtube channel a couple of months ago, something I've wanted to do for 10 years. My art and my youtube channel are about connecting to yourself, your spirituality, your intuition, honouring yourself and straight up living your best life. Thank you for providing this information to us for free. You are fucking GEMZ. Fank yew.

Thank you Sorelle! We work for others - but have just bought a small property to rent out at a discount to a family member who can't afford the increasing rent amounts. It is a way for us to serve someone else while building more equity than we would have with our little personal home. I hope to do this again, maybe a few times, as well as start investing. This is great!!! I work for a marketing company and have plans to grow my social media company (1client so far!) so I can be fully self employed in 2 years. The biggest takeaway was the no limits challenge. The company I work for has started doing webinars and it’s such an exciting new process with a lot of bottlenecks showing up. We need to get creative with it and taking my time to figure this out and give value to my employer will help me move into a leadership position for sure! I love this video because it’s given me ideas for my work (promotions) but also something I can chew on for my own business (how to give unique value to my social media clients when there are social media companies out the wazoo!) thank you!!

A little late to the party, but I own two small businesses, one is a service based business and another (my Covid baby) is ecommerce (sassy and classy dog bandanas). After seeing my 6 figure "recession proof" business tank during the pandemic, I really want to move into a space of having a business that does not rely on labor. Your encouragement and wisdom on creating courses (and other streams of income) has my head spinning in a good way! I appreciate it and appreciate the work you all put into the wonderful, insightful newsletters. Cheers.

I’m a senior college student writing MA about teaching English through social media. Instead of studying, I tutor English, for three years I was studying Chinese-English translation (can’t translate shit), I love PAINTING, sometimes editing videos, recently I finished a course how to create logos, I sell second hand clothes too. I can’t do just one thing so I have a huge problem with deciding what I want to do in the future. I’m thinking about becoming a full time artist but it’s difficult for me to make money of painting art that’s not commercial, I would love to rent apartments too. That’s my life, I just can’t decide, I love doing too many things and that’s what stops me from action.

Thank you for mentioning artists! I am one, and a bit all over the place. Drawing, painting, sculpting, writing, any subject and technique. Besides that, I make all kind of herbal products, oils, soaps, creams, etc. So, I take commissions, run a ‘Creative Café’ one afternoon a week, occasionally sell some work or draw live caricatures at events and now I’m opening a local shop in our house, to bring it all together, I hope. 😄🤞I love the service-principle! Thank you, now I can’t stop fantasising! (Is that how you write it? I’m Dutch.)

My comment got deleted by YT for some reason (known issue when you post a comment and it's nowhere to be found after 20 seconds). So my answer was - thanks for Oprah's quote about success. I too believe in "put your work in, believe in your goals, and success is inevitable". I also agree on over-delivering useful content. That's what I do on my music production blog and YT channel for it. To your question about employed or self-employed - I'm a self-employed music artist, building my own business. Early stages :) I'm very excited for the course to start on October 1st! Thank you

I work for the biggest newspaper company in my country and lately there were some changes in the work flow and some of my job is going to be done by other departments - one of them asked if I could still do it (it's a once in 2 months task that takes few days) I agreed under a condition they'd pay me 30% more (as I was underpaied doing it so far). And to my surprise - they agreed! It may sound silly and unsignificant, but that was the first step I took to actually dare and ask for a raise. I also figured what are my strenghts and how vcaluable I am to the company. And I was able to do so after watching your videos. THANK YOU for that Sorelle!

Hi Sorelle. I am learning so much from your videos. I am just in start-up business mode so am trying to emulate a sponge so I can learn and then action. I have stumbled into a potentially global business that I have yet to identify ANYONE doing as prior to 2015 the field just did not formally exist or have any recognition. It has minimal overheads and can be started from home as it is a knowledge based business but also has HUGE growth potential due to national and international demand that is accelerating rapidly. However, while it is exciting being a trailblazer, it does come with it's own challenges. One of the biggest challenges I have is with having identified this (forget gap, it's a gapping caldera!) business idea is where to realistically start to ensure I set the right foundations.

Giving more than it is usual to the customer from the beginning will make the customer have an amplified feeling towards our service, they will feel precious and much more secure and very much just fine with their life. That is what I get from the interview from Tim Ferris.

I'm an aspiring business-person 😉👍 doing lots of research and needling myself to take ACTION ... because I can't stand being an employee. Honestly I've avoided it pretty well for 12 years of adulthood by being resourceful and useful to others who own or are starting businesses, without being their direct employee. Something changed and I found myself working a profoundly grueling job all summer, now its my turn to start a business because F THAT

I'm employed, and some of the advice here is better for entrepreneurs than a corporate worker, but I still appreciate what you have to say. The "under promise and over deliver" advice hasn't served me well in the corporate world. It just leads to exploitation. Promotions go to those who exude confidence and promise the world.

Nothing wrong with "under promise and over-deliver" as long as you have boundaries. But I can get how as an employee especially, it could lead to people getting exploited.

@@Abundantiaco If you look at corporations, especially now, they have exploited their employee-employer relationship for decades. It’s not a new thing. Back in the 50’s is when they started exploiting employees. Read The Organization Man by Whyte from 1956.

I am on disability right now on a fixed income that is welll below poverty line. I have been sober 10 years and have no interest in going back to the ways I used to make money working for others or running with rougher crowds. I am starting multiple avenues to see if I can stabilize finances for myself and my two kids who have had to go without too much. Ive been on disability these past 10 years and was a career student for 4 of those years almost completing a bachelor in Mathematics before Covid hit. Mostly been doing the non-binary single parent thing on the most ridiculous unsustainable budget, semi-nomadic for years. Been working on my mindset. Next looking into the laws/taxes so I am not so terrified to make more money! This will dramatically change our lives for sure. I am excited.

I freelanced very successfully in clothing design. Then began slowly building a holistic one on one health practitioner practice. Now I am putting effort into a holistic website, with product, and currently recipe ebooklets with raw vegan foods that are original. As well as other things on the site. Not very much return on that after about a year now. A youtube chanel too. Thank you.

Sorelle, I love your videos. I have a suggestion: if you turn down the gain on your recording device (or add a limiter) the audio will not distort when you speak more loudly than the recorder can handle. Or, put the mic further away from your mouth so you do not over-ride the microphone's capacity when you exclaim. A third option might be to get a higher quality mic that has a wider dynamic range. I hope this helps. It is hard on your audience's ears when your voice distorts. This is simply a suggestion for increasing your service to your viewers.

You definitely pack a lot into each of your videos. Thank you. I talk as fast as you do, so I am able to follow easily. I own multiple properties as rentals. Furthermore, I am an investor. What you offer in your videos has been helpful to both. One is never too old to learn.
