@CpyrightedNarrates2 ай бұрын
8 miles is an insane amount for ANYONE to walk in a single day nevermind to and from school, in human history most groups of people only manage to migrate about 10 miles PER a day, we are talking trained hunters, warriors, troops etc. Who are physically conditioned to do so, nevermind a 7 year old child who is expected to do almost that distance in what a hour? 90 mins tops? Furthermore you can tell from the way the kid talks that he is being long-term abused, you can tell by the fear in his voice, the kid is trying so hard not to get his mom in trouble or anything because he knows when this cop takes him home and if he's left with his mom she is going to severely punish him whether that be physically or emotionally, it could be corporal punishment, verbal abuse, forced isolation or denial of meals. Abuse takes various forms and you can tell from how small and meek this kid makes himself that he is trying to avoid negative treatment. No doubt the mom gives the kid small amounts of fleeting affection/attention when he complies with the abuse cycle, this creates a narrative in the kids mind that his mom does really love him but that he is a bad kid and that is why she treats him badly "sometimes" when in reality she treats him badly 99% of the time (do not forget kids have no reference for abuse, this is their normal and they are hardwired to believe their parents love them, especially their mom and to seek love and affection from their parents). Thus the kid will work harder at making themselves smaller and more compliant in order to get his mom to love him. It's a sickening cycle that many kids endure and the truth of it is no matter how much the kid diminishes himself, how small or meek he tries to be his mom will never love him or treat him the way a loving mom truly would. "Why am I a bad kid? Why am I broken? What is wrong with me? Why does mom hate me so much?" ETA - I wrote this comment before even watching the entire video and low and behold we have severe physical abuse, parentification, emotional neglect and denial of meals.
