That is interesting because I just have my eos m, I have that rubber cover for power jack entrance, but battery does not have a jack to be plugged in.

Hi, I've just bought from from Aliexpress for my EOS M2. I think it worked but somehow after a couple of shoots or more, the red battery logo start flashing (just like when the battery almost runs out) and it kept doing that until after i turn off then turn on the camera again (then it repeats after another couple of shoots). Does this also happen with yours too?

I don't use my adapter very often but no, this has not happened. I tested a few different adapters though and was unhappy with the first one I chose (rounded shape) and finally got a square-ish shaped (I think from aliexpress - it was a bit more expensive but works much much better) see kzbin.info/www/bejne/qn2sqHt6jMmneNU

looking at this photo content.parkcameras.com/5/1/images/catalog/i/85980-02-BK_Bottom_Body[1].jpg it appears that yes, it should work, since it also uses the Canon LP-E12 battery. However be wary that on the official adaptor's store page, canon does not list M50 as one of the supported cameras (might be simply because it is newer than the M100 which is listed on the page). I would give it a try.

The Canon m50 has the hole for the ac cable, but the battery has not...

Batteries do not have holes. When you buy the power cable adapter, you should receive this "adapter battery" as well.
