They called him Lewie the Fly in that circle. I always think of my gangster gramps when Bon sings TNT ...dirty, mean and mighty unclean, he's a wanted man. Will always love Bon. Really miss that larrikin. Accadacca played at all the parties and was the backdrop to life as a kid growing up in the rough Aussie burbs of Western Sydney.

I believe that Bon would have not only been a great guy to be around, but also a great friend to have. Let me set the record straight on a couple of things: yes, his autopsy does list the cause of death as "death by misadventure", but it ALSO lists "acute alcohol poisoning." The other thing is that he passed out in a friends car. The guy drove Bon to his (Bon's) flat, grabbed his keys, opened the door with the keys, went back out to get Bon, and in the meantime the door had closed, locked behind him, with Bon's keys now IN the flat. So the guy then takes Bon to HIS flat, calls up a friend of Bon's (after trying to lift his unconscious body weight out of the car and not being able to) and the female friend tells the guy to just leave Bon in the car, throw a blanket on him and leave a note telling Bon which flat the guy lives in so that when he wakes up, he can come up there. The guy did all of that. It was just a horrible accidental death. Its not like the guy didnt try to get Bon out of the car, plus the temperature that night was at freezing and Bon had also been seeing a doctor for several months for liver treatment. I hope that clears some misconceptions up for people that come on here and watch this. Love AC/DC, not looking to turn this into a "Bon vs. Brian" debate, but IMO, AC/DC lost something special in their music when Bon died.

JokersWild45 its matter to me, bon scott is AC/DC forever, brian johnson ruined a whole band, brian voice ruined not imago really
@JokersWild708 жыл бұрын
David Vincent Hey, and I can respect your opinion! They did become a totally different band when Bon died and Brian came in. Even Malcolm, who was always the undisputed leader of AC/DC has said that they would have probably never become what they did without Bon's influence. But I personally enjoy both versions, although they really lost me after "Flick of the Switch." "Ballbreaker" had a few decent songs, and "Rock or Bust" had about 3 that I like, but for me, it will always be "Powerage", "Highway to Hell", "Back in Black" as my 3 favorites. Notable mentions: "Guns for Hire", "Whole Lotta Rosie" (killer, absolutely killer), "Spellbound", "Hard as a Rock", "Jailbreak" (another fucking killer!) "Go Down" and 'Badlands."

Just slept in his car? Ive had a problem with that for a while. I frequently dive to the bottom of a bottle of Jim beam black, and ive NEVER been drunk enough to want to lie down and pass out in the back of a fuckin limo, in 30-something degree temperatures. I'm not saying there was foul play involved, but the actual truth of the story about that night and his death has never even been gotten close to. Too many of those people he was with have thier reasons for lying about what happened. And the authorities never gave a good fuck because he was just another dead rocker.
