Wow. It’s not boring. When I hear Scale, Extrude, or Face, deselect, bla bla. It’s helping me to record these commands in my mind. Thank you so much. That will help me so much.

Great tut. Thanks for taking the time and create those videos. I will share my best shortcut key (and love that in Maya) and it's G for last command. I think if you are doing lots of Ctrl-E then G will give your fingers a break :)

Hi Monica, I have been modeling for over 10 years just like you and was curious why you are using a cube rather than a plane as you only have to extrude the edge rather than selecting and deselecting , Just exrude the plane after for the thickness, or is it a mattter of preferance as we all work different.... Anyway I was wondering why you don't have a course on Udemy Especially your workflow from Maya to ZBrush To Substance Painter it would be a Godsend for Begginers.

Don’t know if you’ve learnt this by now but you should put your reference image in a layer so you don’t accidentally move it

@Academic Phoenix Plus How would one go by to create a paper scroll that can be rolled up and rolled out (short roll, 1-2 rounds wrapped around a core)? Do you have any pointers? (Not a toilet roll per say, but more like a ninja scroll, if you know what I mean.)

Can you upload YOUR reference EDIT? The one specifically you used that is already high resolution and cropped? The link leads to a low-resolution image that is hard to model after because of the extreme pixelation.
