Thank you Thomas for this epic creation. I've only had the AMP1 Iridium for a couple of days now.... After reading over a few of your tips in the Manual, and understanding how to use the Tone pots, this is now my favorite amp... EVER. I 've had some high gain monster tube amps through the years... The AMP1 Iridium blows them away. At first I was skeptical, then seeing Euge Valovirta give his demonstration, I took a chance. Glad I did! Thank you Thomas! -Talvi

Thanks so much Talvi, that's great for us to hear! It's always wonderful to hear an experienced player discover our amps after playing all the others through the years and still being convinced... Keep on rocking your Iridium :)

I have been watching several videos. There are too many to count. But I wanted to say, You are very hands on with your product and marketing. I have never seen a creator who has put forth so much time and effort as you have with these great amps. You made me pull the trigger and grab the Iridium. And I will buy the X as soon as I am able to. I know 100 percent without ever playing this amp that it is what I want and that is because how well you have marketed yourself. Just wanted to let you know, Its recognized and thanks. You are a great player. I wish I could be half as good.

@@BluGuitar It finally arrived. I had to order it from Switzerland. Straight of the bat I could tell this was not your average amp. OMG the headroom is amazing. The clean channel is every bit as clear as my PRS Archon. amazing. I have not done a deep dive yet, I have hooked up a cord to operate the Boss MS3 with the unit but it isnt sending clear signals. I will need midi. The question I have and really the only one is when I am saving my channels will the bass, treble and mid settings also be saved from the Irridium or do I need to find one setting as my tone for both clean and distortion and use the Boss to shape it? Thank you. I am very pleased with your product so far.

Loving the sound of that Iridium Vintage channel! Sounds like my Mercury with an SD-1 added. 😄

I am listening to this quite loud on a very good home theater sound system and the tones are un-freakin'-believable, particularly that LP Jr. with the P-90. My amp really sounds like shit now. lol And Thomas has been giving a blues guitar masterclass here. Straight up fire all the way around. Are these sounds all coming through the direct out via the Bluebox? Or are we listening to mic'ed speakers?
@BluGuitar2 ай бұрын
It’s all direct signal from AMP1 into BluBOX - no microphone!

Hi Thomas, thanks for the demo! How about using the clean channel on either the Iridium or the Mercury with other drive pedals, for other flavours of overdrive or the elusive bloomy, slightly broken clean? Are they both equally suitable for that?
@BluGuitar2 жыл бұрын
Hi there, yes! They're both great for drive pedals. We actually did a dedicated Academy of Tone episode on transparent overdrives with AMP1 - have a look at that here and we hope you'll hear some tones you like! kzbin.info/www/bejne/hpCon4Bmh8SGpqM

nice! This vid shows me that Iridium is a bit closer to my sounds than Mercury. Always thought that IE is muddier, but here I clearly hear that ME is a bit too much saturated. Live could sound completely different though. Nice comparison.

Hi !do you think the cleans are good for jazz/funk and can you have good bluesy tones on the clean canal with a pedal in front? i have the silver edition since many years ,but looking for more versality and thightness for gigs situations with the drives from vintage and classic channel ! i realy like the vintage channel sound from the irridium on many vidéos!
@BluGuitar3 жыл бұрын
I would recommend to try both: iridium and mercury edition to try for yourself with your guitar. This way you can really tell… I hope you can find a dealer to do that…

Is this iridium good for low volumen playing at home? High gain at low volumen
@BluGuitar2 жыл бұрын
Yes, it sounds as good at home volumes as it does on stage! Thomas designed the AMP1 especially for this :)

I prefer the iridium also for classic sounds, I have it,to get the same sounds I have to put an eq after the IR, you put it too?
@BluGuitar3 жыл бұрын
I’m not using an EQ here! It’s only the AMP1 iridium edition into BluBOX with stack 1970, a speaker connected to the speaker through on the BluBOX as a reactive load… that’s all! No further things…;-) cheers, Thomas
