@JV Harbin the point still stands. How do you define strength. If you can
@nilsonrodriguez7135
@nilsonrodriguez7135 5 жыл бұрын
JV Harbin Enduring strife doesn’t just mean surviving. It means tackling your problems head on and going for the win instead of giving up and moping about in self pity. If you give up, you will die, maybe not physically but emotionally. If you fight onward you give yourself a chance of success, and even if you die, you will have gone down in pride not depression. That is true strength, not physical toughness but emotional toughness to keep on fighting against this cruel life. As for wishing to have an easy and happy life? You might as well try to win the lottery by buying only ever buying a single ticket. It will do absolutely nothing. Life is cruel and full of suffering. Not preparing for this means you will be hit by l waves of tragedy completely unprepared and will be demolished. It is better to create your own happiness instead of waiting for life to give it to you. Basing your happiness on chance means you will have a rare and inconsistent form of happiness, but if your happiness comes from within you will have a dependable and never ending form of happiness.

Nilson Rodriguez this guy is taking it too literal. He’s a lost cause, in my opinion. Also he can say Bruce Lee’s “philosophy” is incorrect, but people will always remember the legend Bruce Lee. Not someone hoping that no one does them any wrong. Sounds like a victim waiting to be had.

“Hi creepy face”. But I prefer to say “hi, did the creepy face eat its feet and upper chest?” U cant rewind and remember all by your self. With all that you consumed your high. Meaning all the sensations confronted to u at every moment, it’s natural u can over look the depths of one sensation. I like to believe there is no perfect person, a genius or #1 top model. But working together we can only achieve the top character of a heart of gold or easier said god like,,, .... if I wasn’t here u would assume you lost your head. But I can tell you it’s nothing but a profile pic u set up. 2 party or 3party or every one as a party. Only then can we make god like history. I love my world. And every creepy head in it. .... wait !! Don’t forget. To love your world and every creepy head in it.

@@Oakland510 right now, im dealing with it SA too. So far what ive learn is, i got anxiety when i think too much about myself and what i might do wrong (overthinking) even tho im doing fine or even quite good, so put more focus on your surrounding instead of yourself will help a lot. Also the more you do it the less anxiety you got, it basically exercising mental muscle. 'Fighting' yourself might be not the right word to use on yourself. Try 'encourage' yourself more, because courage only come when you realize you have fear and still do it willingly knowing the action has risk, but also the reward you seek (overcoming social anxiety).

“But time teaches only the willing” Since you’re generally so diligent about citing sources, I’m going to assume that’s not a quote or a paraphrasing of such; given that, I have to say that I absolutely love it and I think it’s a perfect, distilled example of the phenomenal writing that lies at the foundation of this channel - the original work that ties the disparate writings of these great thinkers into such cohesive exegetical narratives that genuinely blow me away every time with how seamlessly they’re woven together and how powerful they are in their effect. Thank you, Academy of Ideas, for all of the stellar work you’ve done; even if I do often feel like you’re watching me or something given the eerily serendipitous timing of my encounters with so many of your videos haha

But, as i've been listening, i've paid attention to the artwork that coincides. And, as weird as it is, i've been developing an appreciation for it. It forces me to analyse to picture and recognize the motivation for it. I can "almost" say that i get art, now. And it's far more beautiful that the picture itself...

My bestie took his life back in October I’m 28 he was 29 and we’ve been friends since I moved to Alaska from Oklahoma back when I was just 8 years old. We never lost touch, and we didn’t always talk everyday but when we’d go months without talking and we’d catch up it was like we’d never had a pause to begin with. He talked me out of suicide on more than one occasion, I will forever be thankful for that, but part of me can’t help feel angry for him doing what he prevented me doing and left me alone here in this world without him anywhere to be found, and now I don’t have anyone to turn to like I did have on him.... I wish he gave me a longer chance to shove self actualization information and knowledge down his throat so I could of watched him become his best self... Sorry kinda off topic or reasoning for my comment injustneasntedbrinrkek you thank you for choosing to live! You were not born by mistake everything is in perfect timing and even the worst of experiences lead to the brightest of futures and adventures. Never defined by the expedited themselves but exactly how we handle them regardless of the amount of pain we feel is inflicted onto us. We choose to suffer majorly of the time. Suicide isn’t getting rid of the pain, it’s just passing it along to someone else who may or may not be able to handle it like those who do take their own life or they might can turn it into the learning experience it’s existence is solely based upon.... sorry for the random jibber jabber I haven’t been myself.. these videos are helping me remove my Masks and uncover what relies within this meat sack vehicle. Stay beautiful! Stay inspired! Stay lifted! If you ever ever ever need someone to talk to I would be more than happy to be that fried for you! You got this!

Excellent video as always. To those practicing the Stoic premeditation of future evils, I say don't get overly caught up in preparing for only the worst and most unlikely of scenarios but practice the smaller and more frequent evils as well if not more. I equate it to training like a strong man and being able to lift a lot of weight but not being able to do very many calisthenic movements or cardio (both of which focus more on a longer endurance with smaller effort). Imagine that your milk will be spilt, that a driver will cut you off aggressively, that your colleagues at work will underperform, etc as much as you imagine the extremes like your family dying, the world at war, or humanity's extinction. Have a good one

Some insights- 1. Victim mentality as badge of honour? 2. Resilience- to bounce back up stronger and wiser 3. Avoiding the mindset of avoiding challenges 4. Responding to stress, perceiving them as challenges to solve....adopting a competitive attitude 5. Worst form of stress is absence of stress 6. Suffering is inevitable 7. Premeditation of evil periodically...prior practice to face the evils 8. Resist the temptations of victimhood and take the approach of an ancient philosopher. 9. Cultivate resilient... 10. Fortify the mind and be open to life

That's right! Trees lean away from the wind and towards the Sun. Pine cones only drop their seeds when heated by fire or Sun, Life seeks an environment to thrive not to look for difficult challenges but to move towards opportunity. I think this channel is unhelpful in it's guidance based on extremely selective quotes that seem to have been chosen to support an agenda to promote competition and place blame. It seems shadowy to me while pretending to be enlightened and it sure finds a home for the victims pretending not to be victims as they line up, Thank you sir, can I have another! @Ligeia D.Aurevilly "... Life seeks an environment to thrive not to look for difficult challenges but to MOVE towards opportunity." Should the pine cone open in the dark? I think our interests are our path and on our path is found opportunities. If we should choose to walk the path shown to us by another then all we find our challenges. This is the meaning, imo, of the wages of sin are death. There are two paths one guided by Fear and the other Love. Those who invoke the emotions derived from Fear in order to achieve personal gain are not being helpful to others or themselves. Insidious pretense is the hallmark of Evil, it spreads like a cancer resonating and energizing the structure within the cell that is tuned to the sound that informs competition over cooperation. Competition is the mindset that earns the wages of Death. Cooperation is the mindset that we see in all that flourishes and competition in all Life that struggles. I believe all of these things to be literally true and not at all analogies.
