Hi Heather! Fellow Catholic, stay-at-home mama here. ❤ Watching this video and hearing the decision you made to step away from all forms of social media except for KZbin has confirmed the decision that I made to do the same about a month ago! I think that it could be God’s way of letting me know I made the right decision. I honestly only stayed on KZbin so that I can keep the inspo of Catholic mama vloggers present. Your videos are so inspirational to me, especially your day-in-a life videos or vlogs. Thank you for all that you have and continue to invest in your KZbin channel because it is not going to waste! God bless!

Also if you and other sisters in faith can pray for me. I'm a new convert and I was just diagnosed with a chronic illness 🙏
@MagdalenaIsaiah43110 ай бұрын
So sorry about your illness. Just prayed a Hail Mary for you immediately and will continue to remember you in my decade of the Rosary where I specifically pray for sick loved ones and those who request it, lifting their needs to our LORD JESUS❤✝️❤ Not sure if you've discovered it yet, but the Rosary Prayer has been the greatest discovery for me since converting to Catholicism a little over four years now! ❤ It is a phenomenally Powerful Prayer that has helped me get a handle on afflictions I suffered from and could never seem to overcome my whole life. 😭😭😭 These include depression, anxiety, insomnia, chronic fatigue, night terrors and endless rejection from every direction possible. So much spiritual warfare, and seemingly no way to win the endless brutal and emotionally draining daily battles😢 I always felt like I was some kind of crippled internally somewhere needing someone to "carry" me but no one was interested and most disdained me and accused me if being lazy and weak😞 Now I pray Rosaries throughout my day at intervals and I can honestly say this is the happiest I ever have been in my life. I can literally change any ugly emotion or that paralyzing lethargy with Rosary Prayer ❣️ And for the first time in my life I'm not terrified of the night. If I have a bad dream or wake up at night I simply grab my Rosary beads and start praying without even opening my eyes and the calm descends and I fall back to sleep. 🙏💤💙 It's even changing my work and family relationships for the better. It's truly the first time in my life that I've felt I have a reliable, consistent, trustworthy way to get through my day with peace and Joy and strength rather than shaking and quaking and dreading.🎉 If I could only recommend one Catholic devotion to anyone it would be this one.💯💯 Our Lady Queen of The Holy Rosary pray for us🌹🙏💙🙏✝️✝️✝️💖💖💖

This was such a warm and joyful video. I am happy to hear you will continue with KZbin. You are such a faithful daughter of God. I love all your videos but I especially love your cooking and homemaking ones, a day in the life, your prayer life, Catholic traditions, and living liturgically. I would also enjoy cleaning and decluttering videos and videos about living with fewer possessions and detachment from worldly goods. I am so happy you had a blessed advent and Christmas. I absolutely love the St. Andrew prayer. This was my third time praying it during Advent and I also plan to do it every year from now on. It is a beautiful and powerful prayer. I put my tree up around the third Sunday of Advent and take it down right after the Epiphany, but I agree that everyone should be able to decorate for Christmas in their own homes whenever they want to. God bless you and your beautiful family, Heather ❤ Thank you for your faithful example.

We are a Catholic, homeschooling family, and one day my daughter looked up from her reading and asked me, “mom, what does ejaculated mean?” Shocked, yet assuming she was reading the passage in the Bible about Onan, I took a big breath, and I explained all of it in a very matter of fact way and how God designed everything to beautifully work to create babies. All the kids were in the room, including my husband. After I finished my human anatomy lesson, my daughter said “I think the book used the wrong word.“ Confused, I asked her to use the word in the sentence that she had just read. She said, “Pollyanna’s aunt was mad and ejaculated hurtful words at her.” I’m sure your approach will be less awkward than mine! 😅

Oh my gosh, yes please, all of what you said! I have had the same messaging from God recently! To focus on our domestic church and our health. Our home is such a disaster! I started trying to get organized last year watching you tube videos but I didn’t make much progress and Christ was not the center of our life. We have been making drastic changes to make him the center but still have so so far to go. I’d love to hear about homemaking in a Christ centered way. Also health and wellness and how to be with the kids and finding joy in less. This year we pulled back a lot on Christmas and made it more Christ centered but I found it still wasn’t even close to actually being Christ centered! I want to do way less, have way less and be filled with the Holy Spirit way more. All your videos are always so inspirational! Thank you for all you do and going outside your comfort zone.

Our family observes the 12 days of Christmas, so I don't sweat getting the Christmas tree up right after Thanksgiving, and we keep the tree up til Epiphany. Regarding sex education, just follow your kids' Catholic school's lead. My children's Catholic school followed the Family Life Program. I loved it, because it slowly broached the subject from Kindergarten (no sex is taught at this level, just the dynamics of a healthy family life using very simple terms) through 8th grade. The program slowly teaches age-appropriate aspects of family life at each grade level, then teaches sex education from a Catholic perspective in 6th grade, weaving in God's love for us, the love inside a marriage, and the beautiful outcome of that love. I found out the words they use so that my words would be consistent with their teaching. I found it to be an invaluable resource.

Hello Heather! I always enjoy your videos so much. Thank you for sharing all of this with us! I grew up in the Ordinary Form so we usually took our Christmas deco down after the Epiphany but the past 10 years since my family and I have joined a Latin Mass parish and have been learning more about our Catholic tradition and roots we've been trying to do more. Lately our parish has become an Institute of Christ the King parish and its so much easier to learn about our Catholic roots and traditions now! So our Church is still very much in the Christmas-celebration mode. I admit, it does feel a bit hard to keep up with the Christmas celebration but it still feels so right. ---- I enjoy all the videos you post, but I must admit I do love seeing content thats about the home and family and cleaning. Even makeup and routine videos are fun to watch as well! Especially since you are a good Catholic family, it makes it really special. ---- Thank you again and if you could, please say a little prayer for me that I find my future spouse 🥰🥰 thank you! I watch and love all your videos, Heather, so I'm glad you'll continue them. ❤ My favorite videos are your laundry chats, day in the life, and the ones you do on Catholic gift suggestions. Would also like to see some on encouraging those people whose family members have fallen away from the faith. 😔 Our nativity usually gets put away right after Epiphany, but this year it's still up. It's my favorite Christmas decoration, and I just can't bring myself to put it away yet. Tree came down right before Epiphany. Happy new year! Thanks for all you do to inspire and educate us. ❤

Hi Heather! Nice to hear from you! I would like to know you're thoughts on raising bigger kids/teenagers. I'm in that season now as a mom ❤

Heather I love when you give ideas for projects for my grandchildren Michael is 6 and Marianna is 4 . Looking forward to “ st valentines “ I loved the idea of All Souls’ Day where we wrote names on candle 🕯️ my babies loved it we also did the giving manger and we made three wise men with paper towel rolls . And then we reinforce it with a Bible cartoon on tv 🌻🌻🌻
