Cam Ward Scouting Report. Pros: - Lively arm that can drive passes too all areas of the field. - Can vary his arm slot to adjust delivery of passes over/around defenders. - Calm in the pocket (almost too a fault). Doesn't panic when things begin too break down. - Solid ability to process what is in front of him pre and post snap. - Good enough athlete to extend and play off script. - Plus leader and hard worker. Cons: - Gets himself into trouble when he goes "big fish hunting" rather than take what the defense gives him. Passes up sure gains for potential big ones. - Arm strenght is a B+ but will attempt A+ throws that give defenses a chance. - Not a plus athlete. Won't scare anyone with his legs. - Can get too nonchalant in his mechanics at times (not stepping into throws, not positioning body correctly, throwing while falling back). I used to watch this dude ball at Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX a couple years ago. He was good, but never thought he'd be a Heisman Trophy finalist one day! Pretty crazy. He's the best QB in this draft imo. I think he'll eventually be the #1 Overall Pick.

NIL and scholarships are income any way you look at it. They are in my opinion, contractual agreements. What's your name, image or likeness worth if you opt out? These opt out players had no issues taking the money all this time so fine them for not living up to what they assumed they were worth. In 20 years of military service defending these kinds of choices, not once did I call my superiors to tell them, "Hey, I'm sitting this one out today because I may get hurt"! These prima donnas need to be held accountable for what they are expected to do and what they assumed they were worth. Ask a first responder not to help someone that's in need or ask a teacher to tell a student they don't feel like showing them how to do something today. Wtf has this woke generation become?
