really needed this video today, so much of what you said resonated with me, especially the bit about conversations slipping through your fingers and needing to feel in control 😅

it's honestly cathartic to listen to the way you work through things. i like the way your brain works :)

Related to all of it. Especially my needs not being met as a child (and now lol..) and shouting for help but like I'm fine it's chill

You may make a mistake but that doesn't mean you deserve a huge punishment for a small mistake.

People who have been living through something are almost always more knowledgeable than any "specialist" who read a few paragraphs in a textbook 20 years ago. I understand the disclaimer so as not to confuse or unintentionally mislead or misguide anyone. But, I wouldn't go so far as to say that you don't know anything. You know what you lived, if nothing else. Philosophically, the amount we as a species, let alone individuals, know vs what remains unknown, an argument can be made that none of us know anything. But that's a different context.

In real life I’d absolutely argue I know more than most specialists and professionals, but the online world is a bit of a Wild West when it comes to ‘knowing stuff’, so I like to really cover my ass 😂 Lived experience definitely means so much more than any reading or research, but better safe than sorry when I don’t have anything to back it up with!
