I have a 1990 Chevy K1500. No brackets came with the kit. I Had to drill just above the Torx bolts in the raised channel, . I couldn't remove the Torx bolts anyways (totally frozen with rust). Furthermore. This video stated T44 Torx, No such bolt (actually T40)

would this bed cover fit on a 2005 step side shortbed silverado?

It will not. The cover you checked out fits a 1988-1998 Chevy C/K stepside short bed. You'll want to use the # 834532000289 instead, which is a confirmed fit for your 2005 Silverado short bed stepside. www.etrailer.com/Tonneau-Covers/Chevrolet/Silverado/2005/834532000289.html

What if you have a bedliner
@etrailerАй бұрын
Access couldn't provide specific instructions for trucks with drop-in bed liners, but typically you'll need to trim the liner just below the bottom of the bed side rail to the liner doesn't interfere with the side rails of the tonneau cover or the clamps used to hold them in place. you might be better off going with a bed mat. If you reply with the year/make/model truck and the bed length, I'd be happy to make a suggestion for you. www.etrailer.com/Tonneau-Cover/Access/834532000210.html

Hi Jerry, can you tell us more about the brackets you're looking for? Are you looking for the mounting brackets to install this tonneau to a 1989 Chevy truck? Give us a holler back, and we'd be happy to help!
