I like this! I'm a driver. I've doing my job 4+ years. I've been playing with the lathe today. I got the left side nice but I ran out of time because I was on the road. The right side didn't get cut

Great video I love how I'm using this to help train some of my stores new hires at my O'reilly's Although I'll have to tell mine not to smash through boxes unless they're empty.😂

Your shaft is shorter than the other I have seen. Can the shaft be removed to clean and re-inserted? Please let me know and thanks. I am buying a used one for my personal use. Your video is very clear and you explain very good

I have not personally disassembled this machine, as is a fixture at a local O’Reilly store However, the commercial parts manager has disassembled it and replaced the bearings on the arbor. So it is possible, although I think it does take a good amount of time.

Hi sir can this Accuturn 8944 cut the drum and disc for heavy duty trucks?
@MechanicalTriage3 жыл бұрын
It really depends on how large the drum and disk are, it may be able to do an F-450, depending on the year, but probably would not do a tree service GMc top kick sized vehicle. Sorry, I do not know the size specs for the maximum rotor sizes.

I think it’s awesome that your making these because I honestly don’t think a single of my coworkers have been taught on how to use our machine and I’m the only one who has read the instructions on proper care for it and it makes me so mad because they aren’t using it properly. Please come show them! Store#3549phoenix.

I’m very much down for hitting up corporate and soliciting them with a training program agenda. I would also humor being the new ‘face of’ O’Reilly and educating customers in a funded campaign so there would be continuity between customer needs and expectations.

@@MechanicalTriage This is an ongoing battle in conversation that I have been trying to have for just about as long as I’ve been with the company. But I can tell you with my experience with this side of the country and the ongoing part in which whenever I bring my suggestions to the frontline being overlooked because it’s coming from a female that it’s a far fetched dream for anything that could be profitable and benifit the community at the same time. I’ve been an advocate for having some sort of “basics “ class for people to which some of our team members can educate some products we sell in our road safety kits and how they should know how to use them properly. Like maybe how to operate a road flare and the placement of them in the event they need to use them. Or that it’s a common misconception for a lot of people that you cannot use just any transmission fluid on your vehicle just because it’s titled Automatic transmission fluid. Things that aren’t taught to people who are sharing the roads with us every day...some don’t even know where the battery is located in some of their own cars because they have never changed their battery and it’s their first time when they come through our doors..but you know what they said to me when I suggested it?...they have KZbin now...they can just KZbin it.

Because I asked if we could do this we could charge $50.00 for the class which could cover a roadside safety kit for each person that signs up for the class and we can show them how to utilize everything inside of the kit as well as suggestive selling points for other things they can add to the kit and they are going to need to replace the items that they use in the future for upkeep on their provided kit.

But, in honesty, they should take the initiative to be front line repair for the masses. I am in the beginnings of doing a 50 part series on topics including (how to install wipers, how to check your gas cap, how to check your oil) etc. to brake down simple items and playlist them all into a vehicle inspection package that any one person should be able to comprehend.

I wanted to start a work shop at my home store, and charge $20 a person or something, but your on to something there with the roadside kit. I wanted to go over a 50 point inspection and educate people how to go about that, and spend the time with as many individuals on their respective vehicles as needed. Would be great for O’Reilly as a crowd draws a crowd, and I could gain many new customers. I’m more valued at being a staple to the community, but started this KZbin channel because I believe I have knowledge and a different ways of looking at things that at least some people would enjoy.
